What Students Say

Likes

The college provides a good placement rate.
Also the seniors in the college are very helpful.
The faculty members are very qualified and very cooperative.

Dislikes

The campus of the college is a bit small as compared to other colleges.
The location of the college is in a bit outer in Ghaziabad.
Sometimes the college feels like a school due to assignments and works.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

First of all I chose this course in this college because of the good placement rate of the college and because of the development in today's world computer science is a must to learn. The teaching methods of the faculty is good but sometimes they should also upgrade or change their method for better understanding to the students. The exams held on monthly basis and their difficulty level is on a moderate side.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 139000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The college has a separate internship cell for the interested students to take part in internship programs and the college offers ample of opportunities for the students. The college also have partnership with industries to provide them internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

The placement rate of this college is good as compared to other AKTU affiliated colleges. The average package is about 5 to 6 lakhs and the highest package is 48 lakhs . The companies that visit the campus are TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The current tuition fee for pursuing b.tech in KIET GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS is 139000 . Their are no such compulsory charges other than the university examination fee and the hostel fee if taken. The college also provide the scholarship and fee weaver programmes.

Campus Life

The overall experience of the college life is very good as their are club events happening frequently and a main college fest "Epoque" that happen annually. Also their many clubs in the college that students can take part in according to their choice.

Admission

The admission process in this college is of two modes either direct admission through the college exam or through AKTU Counselling via jee main score. The cut off varies with the number of students and their score. On an average you can get computer science branch with 15000 rank

Faculty

4.5

The teachers in the college well qualified and mostly of them are highly qualified and their teaching approach is very good like they relate the topics with some real life events for better understanding and also their is no limit to interact with the teachers and ask for your doubts if they are free they will talk to you any time and resolve your problems.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

My decision was I could say influenced by my elder brother and I don't regret taking admission here. I applied to all AKTU colleges got rejected only from IET LUCKNOW and KNIT SULTANPUR purely due to percentile reason Other than that I got all the colleges including BIET JHANSI. I chose this one due to placement of the 2022 batch. Admission happens here through JEE MAINS and DIRECT ADMISSION as well For my course if you are general then you should have atleast 90+ percentile if you are from home state that is UP. Direct Admission happens on the basis of 12th result for CSE you need near around 90 percentage...Read More
