What Students Say
Likes
- Infrastructure and classes of Kiet are very good
- The faculty's are very nice and cooperative
- Many services are available such as lending sports equipment
Dislikes
- Very large amount of admissions while the campus is very small
- There is no sports period and pressure of studies is high the whole day
- Exams are conducted every 15 days which creates and academic pressure
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is satisfactory, however it becomes a little difficult to cope up with the syllabus as time management is a big task The exams are conducted every 15 days and so academic pressure is on peak.
Placement Experience
The placement record of the college is quite good and satisfactory. Several big companies provide placements and internship opportunities too. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Vipro, infosys etc companies visit. The average package is of 8,00,000 and highest till now went till 60L
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for 1st year is 1,38,000. It cjanges every year, however the change is kind of negligible. The tution fee is 1,38,000 and the hostel fees is another 1,00,000. Up scholarship are provided but most people can't take advantage of it.
Campus Life
My campus life experience is quite good. The clubs here too are good and active. The infrastructure is also very nice but the campus size is relatively smaller as compared to other colleges. Many fests are conducted like recently Epoque was conducted with Jubin Nautiyal as a cheif guest. The library is also very good and full of books one needs to read perfectly in sequence and clean way. Extracurricular activities are a bit lesser as there are 7 hours of study and so period for games
Admission
The admission process is very easy and simple. I took admission by UPTAC counselling where the jee mains scorecard is being used I got 84 percentile and hence got computer science branch. The thing about admission I didn't like is that we have to stand in lines for admission after getting a seat because of large amount of admissions going on.
Faculty
The faculty members are very good and cooperative. They all are having good experiences of their own subject and they teach very well. Regular mentorship sessions are also taken by the faculty members. In addition we can discuss with any faculty members to clear our doubts.
