Course Curriculum Overview
I was a electrical and electronics student. Our curriculum had lots of scope for improvement. Even though it covers majority of topics I feel like lots of updates are needed. Curriculum is revised every 4 years. But new technologies are excluded even in new curricculum.End semester Exams are conducted every 5 months
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a Kerala government institute fees is very low about 9k per semester. And there are lots of scholarship based on merit and reservations. Scholarships like egrantz Central sector etc will cover your tution fee
Campus Life
Arts fests and technicl fests are conducted every year in major colleges under University. There are lots of clubs for extracurricular like chess , cricket, oratory etc.our Central library has all the major books related to academics but literture is relatively low
Admission
There is a admission test called KEAM to get admission in colleges under apj Kerala technical University. I had 16k rank nd got admission in government college in electricl and electronics engineering. To get top caolleges you need below 3-4k without reservation. Keam exm is conducted every year on May
Faculty
Faculties are well qualified and majority of them are very helpfull. But don't expect them to spoon feed you . They will guide you but will not take classes as like in schools. Evaluation is very liberal and you can score good in internals
