Insight from MBA Student

Gujarat Uni have industry collaboration with various partners, providing internships, project work, which can enhance student's creativity and accademic career. Carriculum emphasize development of soft skills such as Leadership, communication, team work, adeptibility etc Faculty members at MBA programmee at GU brings experience in both acedemics and practical insights.

GU have colleberations with various companies for internship programmee. Companies offered internship were: Delloite EY Kpmg Adani Ltd Nirma Ltd different medium sized companies etc. The roles offered in internship are : ?A role as assistant in finance department, HR dept, marketing dept, production dept etc. ?Role as assistant in Financial planning and Analysis team ?Assistant of team of Financial advisors ?assistant at team of company growth and marketing

The students became eligable for placement from last Sem. The Uni have tie ups with various industries partners for campus placement. Companies visited for campus placement are: Delloite TCS HDFC Bank ICICI bank QX Global group. etc Percentage of students getting placement are about 30%. My plan is to get hired by any known company at Campus placement.

The fees stracture includes tution fees, registration fees , examination fees, library fees etc. which is typically 125000 for 2 years in mine case. The policy of college is to hike the tuition fees every year due to inflation. The complete cost of my education including boarding , lodging traveling etc are 250000 for 2 years. While my college provides various internships programmee fol last 1 year. The stipend vary from 10000pm to 50000pn. I got stipend of 20000 per month for 8 months of internship.

The university is very versitile at campus life. Students organisation are very good at organising various cultural festival including festivals of all major religions. Annual festivals to celebrate diversity, creativity and talent through various performances and compititions. There are many Sport festivals are organised too. From outdoor games like cricket, football, tennis, vollyball etc too indore games like chess, table tennis, carrom etc and many more games. Carious compititions are organised accross students of different colleges.

The facility provided in hostel are bording, lodging including various services like laundry and ironing services, library services etc. There are 2 students in a hostel room which has an attached toilet bathroom, Air contitioner,2 beds , sitting area , Wifi servies, Common refrigerator, RO water, playGround, praking etc and many more servies The meal quality is average as all expects, not too much good. But you can order food from Zometo too. Registration process for Hostel is very simple, One have to submit documents and pay fees for 6 months. Locality in which i rented room was Nikol

Students who have completed their Graduation in any subject are eligible for MBA subject to passing entrance exam. The admission process includes CAT( common admission test) and CMAT( Common Management admision test). I didnt get any reservation benefits while taking admission in carriculum as i belong to General catagory. For admission CMAT exams are organised by GU with frequency as decided by University.

The faculty to student ratio at GU veries from department to department. But the average ratio is about 1:20 to 1:25.This mean there is a faculty per 20-25 students.While is our college the ratio is 1:15 something. GU contains various faculties with different credentials and teaching styles.Most of them possesses Phd degree in their respective fields. In term of teaching and mentoring, faculty at GU provide supportive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking and academic excellence. Overall the faculty are good and coperative.
