Reality of Tier 3 Colleges

I chose this course as this course provides variety of careers like one can choose to go to Hardware sector or IT sector. It has excellent opportunities in Government jobs as well. Teachers in our college were great knowledgeable persons.

Internship happened like a course meaning our HOD took some commission and brought 2 persons who took money from us and made us do some small projects. So no free internship or paid internships were available in my college.

Very very bad. No placements were offered, not even service companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro that visits every Engineering college. They simply brought 2 Edtech companies which offers courses on Java. 0% students got placed. I took up an Online Course after the degree.

Fee Structure was better compared to other colleges, It has less course fee which make poor students who want to pursue Engineering can afford here. You can get good Scholarship as well. There wasn't any Campus employment, No company not even TCS visited us.

Campus life was good,green campus, great sceneries surrounding the college, Juice shop, some student portals to recognize extra curricular activities. Wifi was not up to the mark. There weren't much student clubs to engage in Social activities. Overall average.

It is very easy to get into this college. I got admitted through KCET Engineering Rank. If you have written KCET means you can opt for this college based on your rank at the time of option entry. Admission process gets completed within 3 days.

The faculty to student ratio was not much high. Every student can easily approach any lecturer for queries. Most of the faculties hold PhDs there and knowledgeable but less practical. They guide students who approaches them.

No, I didn't face any Group discussion, Interview or written Test for the admission in my college. It is a Tier 4 college which is not at all tough to get into. Students, seniors even lecturera were always in chill mode. So no formal interviews and all.
