- I really liked the staff and their teaching methods. The college also provides sports,NCC army and Air force and NSS activities.
- I liked the quality of the labs. The equipment and chemicals used is also high class.
- I liked the big classrooms that hold enough space for about 100 students and the benches are like staircase so everyone can see the board.
Dislikes
- You don't need to maintain any attandance to attend the exams.
- NCC department should be more developed.
- There is no auditorium for events in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm persuing BSc. Non medical from Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar which is affiliated be Guru Nanak Dev University. I opted for this course because of my interest in maths and chemistry. I'm thinking of persuing masters in chemistry after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very good. I'm paying about 40000 a year for my course and Sc BC students hav to pay only ?100 a year which I think isn't fair but if it helps a needy student, who am I to say anything.
Campus Life
There are lots of festivals celebrated throughout the year. The library offers a lot of books and journals. The classrooms the equipped with projectors. The grounds are properly maintained. Overall the student life is good.
Admission
I liked that even after being govt. Funded college, the admission process was very simple. It took only about 2 two hours for the admission to be done. I only had to answer a few simple questions and fill a form that costs 300.
Faculty
The faculty members are great and possess great set of skills that are required to teach the students. Their behaviour with the students is also very kind and helpful. Overall all the faculty members are very helpful and open to all kinds of doubts in classes.
