Remarks

On the whole, this college will be good for the nerds. And the ones who want to enjoy your college on sports or extracurricular activities this is not a good place to practice.

Entrance Preview

This particular college was having good placement records and it was having constant University ranks at Anna University. It was staying in the top 5 positions for more than 10 years. So I thought I would join this college. This college was one of the well-reputed colleges in my hometown. And also I have studied in the same RMK school so my parents wanted me to study in the same institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Everything will be given to the students in the form of notes and printed copies. So the students won't be able to gain knowledge on the curriculum. Maximum they make us study and reproduce in the same during the exams. They follow local author books to make the students understand and get marks but without gaining knowledge properly.

Internships Opportunities

There is no place for such activities. The college doesn't support any extracurricular activities. The college will not allow the students who have low grades to go for even sports matches. The college Focuses only on academics. All that they need is results in Anna University exams.

Placement Experience

2

The basic formula they use is " if you are all cleared with 70% and above " you will be placed in anyone if the company. They make many placement opportunities. They give adaptive training for all the companies. They are not charging extra amount for those coaching classes for placements. In general, they tie up with the companies and push us inside some companies.

College Events

1.5

College day- culturals. This college supports cultural activities but separately for boys and girls. There are n number of rules and regulations that have to be followed during this time. No outsider is allowed to come to college culture. Intercollege sports meet. Every year they will conduct department matches. The students will play for their own departments. So this will be healthy and they will also give prizes and you will also have a chance to get into the college team. Anna University zonals. This is the primary activity for a college to do. But this college gives only 15 days to 20 days of training for zonals. Whereas other colleges give it for almost 3 to 4 months.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for a counseling student will be around 70,000 whereas the fee for the management quota students will be around 1,10,000 to 1,75,000 depending upon the hostel and transport facilities. This is very expensive compared to other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no such activities taken part in my college. To my knowledge, I have not applied for any loans over the college. I have studied with the educational loan. So the college supports students with educational loan processes. They also help by giving Bonafide certificate to students who opt for loan outside the college. They never say no to the students and parents requests.

Campus Life

4

Generally, boys, strength is quite high than girls. The college offers good food and healthy infrastructure and a very green environment to breath fresh air. The students are allowed to get into extracurricular activities or co-curricular activities only if they clear all the exams and tests that have been conducted by the respective departments. There are many courses and offers available but they are only provided to the students who study well. The selection process is done by the department only. If the student is interested or not they have to participate. But if an interested student is with low marks they are not encouraged to join such activities.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel and foods are very good compared to other colleges. The food is excellent actually. They have received many awards for the clean and neat environment. And for making the food with clean and healthy environment. And for the good infrastructure. It's on the whole very good.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year they organize alumni meet in a separate hotel and give gifts for the alumni who all registers. There is no entry fee for this alumni meet.

Exam Structure

Everything will be like school only. We will have cycle tests, Monthly unit tests and model exams and also remodel exam. This is for the students who fail in the model exam. The students must come to college irrespective of the study holidays and complete the remodel exam by getting 70% marks and then only they are allowed to go home.

Admission

This institution mainly checks the capable students by Anna University counseling. Also, there are many seats available for the management quota. So this is the main business of the college. They collect the minimum of 2 lakhs to the maximum of 7 lakhs depending upon the department you opt for. The basic requirement is at least 60% of cut off marks.

Faculty

2

We can go ask doubts to the concerned staffs anytime in the campus. There are many talented staffs in this college who have active participation in the academic activities but there are few staffs who don't have the needed qualifications but due to strong recommendations they will be a part of the institution. So nothing can be done to them. Ignoring them the staffs, on the whole, is good and well knowledged.

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming.
