Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to take English honours because I was fascinated by books and I really enjoy reading. Up until now I've developed a lot in my English skills, communication, Also to analysis and make decisions in life. The teaching methods of our college is very subtle and impressive. The frequency of the exam is - after every 5 months we are to give the final exams for semester (corresponding)
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is comparatively very low for admission. And if we provide them income certificate the fee is reduced to 550 rs only. The books are to be bought every semester and it'd cost around 2-3 thousand rupees. The college even provide scholarship for backward sections.
Campus Life
Every year their is freshers party for everyone to welcome the newcomers. And there is sports week during the month of September-october. We also give farewell party during june-july. There are small events like yoga day , environment day , birthdays of cultural icons of Assam as well as the whole India. There are adequate amount of books and journals provided to us in our library and we are free to read anything we desire. The classrooms are quite normal. Although we are provided screening sometimes of some necessary courses.
Admission
The eligibility of the course I've choosen is 10+2 with atleast 40% . Applications are to be made through online process. The fees of the application form is around 200-300 rupees. The exams are held every 4months time period and the difficulty level is mediocre for even below average students. The improvements that are required is the portal's lag issues and also correction issues of data
Faculty
In our English department, the teachers are brilliant and each one is very skilled and qualified professionals. Their teaching capabilities reaches to every student. And we are able to highly understand whatever they teach. I really like our department. The teachers are very encouraging!
