- College infrastructure is really good , even for hostel facilities are really good, for all students who comes from other states also can adapt really well.
- College provides us quality education and Along with that it has really good patient flow so for clinicals work also it's good.
- As patient flow is more you will get exposed to clinical works lot and they will how we should practice it.
Dislikes
- The college doesn't provide more materials you should buy first
- May be initiatially it will difficult for newcomers to get set with food.
- Weather is too hot there , especially in summer it's really humid and we will be dehydrated for sure.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took bds because I always knew that I wanted to go to medical field and wanted to serve people and as i always had interest in art so wanted such field where I use my artistic skills which was fulfilled by this course and when we are real world application a normal bds graduate can open clinic and earn money even when you can't afford masters also ,as bds degree itself is a specialization , regarding exam i can tell is just hang in there and give your best specially 4th year,you will get through it with flying colours.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship in college and it was for 12 months, good experience, i learnt many things out there, treated different patients and learnt new procedures , techniques and innovation. And once we keep working we will get more confident with practice.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees increases every year by 10000 and Complete cost will be approximately 2.5laks if you have government seat . We will get vidyashree scholarship specially for OBC ,sc and St. To be honest there is no stipend as it is private college but we do stipend in government college.
Campus Life
Oral hygiene day celebration, No tobacco day , No aids days , world environmental day etc.. many moree.. Even the festivals like Dasara , holi , navratri are also celebrated. When it comes to Library it's huge and really beautiful you will every kinda book there i really love library. We do have yearly magazine too . Students who are interested in sports have good opportunity to go to state and national level. We do have many clubs and insta page to increase awareness about oral health and camps among people.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good although it is little in outskirts but rooms are spacious and 2 students per room ,we have bed, chair , table and one big cupboard too. Meal is good, 2 varieties of bf , and lunch is also good and dinner too . people from Kerala can eat kerala rice too . Hostel fees was 1lakh now they have increased due to bus facility.
Admission
I took neet UG exam and cutoff for OBC at that it was more than 150 and I got 300marks . Application will get once we get alloted seat through counselling and we should go to alloted college and ask for application. OBC category reservation benefit. Neet Exam is difficult all you need is hardwork and dedication.
Faculty
Faculty is really good, the lecturers all have a good experience, Hod's have a experience of more than 20 years and they are student friendly and the way they teach they apply theoretical knowledge on clinicals and explains it in easy way, and students whenever they have doubts they can ask lecturers without any hesitation.
