- The dedicated and accomplished faculty create an engaging learning environment with personalised attention and curriculum.Even though it's a college so won't be same as school but the staff supports you whenever necessary.
- The staff tries explaining the concepts in detail and change the language wherever necessary.They are strict enough and attendance is sent home. Hence even though it's a college but it maintains discipline for welfare of children.
Dislikes
- There are not a lot of things that are negative.Just few teachers who cannot teach properly and don't cover the syllabus sometimes. It leads to a lot of load on students. But since it's higher education it's understandable that you beed to studourse.
- The second main thing is crowd. The main campus consists of no of different colleges (engineering, pharmacy, architecture,etc) so it's crowdy place. During functions that's major drawback as you don't get enough space.
- Sometimes management takes wrong decision about planning of things but it is somewhere manageable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about curriculum it's university syllabus (2019 pat) for my batch. It is designed in order to provide deep knowledge in respective fields. Exams are held accordingly at proper times. Sometimes the period is short but after all it's engineering so understandable.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities start in 2nd sem of third year . Companies approch for internship and there are quite opportunities. You can apply and get selected according to your qualification. You beed to do mini project to impress campanies and increase the chance to get selected. So according to your performance you get stipend and awards. You can even apply off campus internship and college is flexible for it .
Placement Experience
The college has good placement with decent package. Ghe highest package is 42 lakhs and average is around 4.5 lakhs per annum. Third years second sem the internship starts and you can apply companies after that period. The campus placements start in final year and every year numerous companies enter including mass recruiters. I'll be doing masters after B.E.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is according to castes for every student. The open category has maximum fees and it goes on declining according to categories. The fees for general category is around 1 lakh per annum and you get scholarships according to your eligibility criteria and caste. maha dbt scholarship is one of major ones that a lot of students apply for.
Campus Life
Overall it's average college from placement pov and best one from enjoyment pov. You get vibrant college life with one of biggest fests in pune . You can be part of huge sports culture and other extra curricular activities. There are lot of social groups or clubs like NSS, IEEE, ROBOTICS, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are available for every year in college. There are seperate mess for boys and girls respectively. The food quality is average. Overall hostel is affordable. The room provides sleeping bed mattress, table , shelf , fans and all facilities along with cleaning.
Admission
Eligibility criteria for engineering is 12th passed students can apply after passing CET exam. They'll get college according to marks conquered. If name of college is listed in cap round then approch for admission. The people out there help you further. They stick to you till end
Faculty
The staff is highly qualified with plenty of knowledge of respective subjects. Each subject has few number of teachers so that each division gets a teacher and there's no rushing. The staff is supportive and encouraging. They provide proper mentiorship wherever required. Even after classes you can approach them if you have issues and they'll solve it without issues.
