The course is highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers essential topics with current industry standards and trends. Balancing theory and practical it ensurens students gain critical thinking and practical skills.

In university after completion of every semester there is one month internship where aim is to provide with industrial and in hand knowledge and experience to student. University also Provide industrial mentor for internship.

Placement provided by university are pretty decent. Many local and international company provide with internship and placement opportunities with decent placement ratio and exposure to industrial experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Student fees remain constant throughout course. currently fees for cse is 110000 per year including exam fees,tution fees,library fees,etc. Placement are decent where good amount of opportunities are provided by university.

University do organize various function and have various club where students can be part of the various activities conducted by university which includes various educational aswell various entertainment functions in university.

Admission

Admission process was pretty smooth. Admission can be done through jee score,throught Gujarat councilling acpc and through management quota aswell. Cuttoff for cse is little high compared to other branches

Faculty are well qualified in computer science branch where all subjects are taught with in depth understanding and lab are scheduled for practical and in hand experience for every practical subject with project

Likes

I like the technique of teaching and sharing the information with others and high tech laboratories
Advanced Computer and classroom and library
Campus are very beautiful and adventurous they have facilities for outside students providing bus service

Dislikes

Nothing for hate but the same thing like mess food are average
And Here Everyone Wants To Makes Friends But Not anyone believes
My Experience Is Too Good But Food Problems of Mess Is My First priority

I Will Fresher I Have Not Enough Information About This Thing But I Hear with Senior in Third years student was eligible for campus placement.company like tcs velliote Microsoft Google Asian paint reliance industries L&T Adani Group and Ultra Tech IBM and Cognizant nestle sacks

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

Likes

all faculty member is good give the best lecture.it is government college so all faculty come in the college
in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

Dislikes

in the college many class room is old fashion like feel like you stay in the village.

here till now i think better placement so my opinion is that it is the government college and also provide the place ments while other college take fees and also placed same company with same package . acordin to me it is quite good placement is provide

IIT Gandhinagar from the eyes of a First Year

Likes

The Sports Complex is a major highlight of IIT Gandhinagar.
The Campus Amenities are top notch and it is a fully green Campus.
Faculties are Expert in their Respective Fields and teach very well.

Dislikes

The Course Load is very High and you will get very less free Time.
The Exams are quite challenging and you have to keep thinking out of the box.
Some lectures such as World Civilization and Cultures are very boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements this year have become better. 4th Years are sitting for Placements right now. Top companies include Infosys, Oracle, De Shaw, Nvidia, etc. All Data is available in the Placement Report which is available on the IIT Gandhinagar Website. Till May 4, 2024 69 % Students have been placed. I plan to go for a masters after my degree.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage

From the very beginning it was my dream to be in such a reputated and best education providing university. I had got admissions in many other colleges like parul, itm, navrachna university situated in Vadodara itself but i chose GSFC University over everything because of its quality education, professional employment, engaging atmosphere and cheerful campus. I also have to chance to onther well know college but those are government where environment was not so good and i know that the placement was good but in this current time only skills are required so i build skills any clg but i need is to get a perfect environment and facility to enhance my focus to achieve that goal i have already a roadmap before joining the clg and branch so i know that what to do in cse brach how to crack like big company and other stuff but all you need is skills development and i choose this clg for my comfort and environment also my rank was not so good but i hace chance to take admission in gujrat top 10 clg for engineering but i cant and admission process was acpc after Gujarat board and from jee through you need to fill up the university form online and have a management quota...Read More
