I like my college because provide a huge library with so many books
Good canteen facilities with 4,5 staffs are there
The tech fest named gurutwa one of the best event conducting in my college

In my college usually number of students is less
Number of programs or events are less compared to other colleges
Some machines in the laboratory not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this subject because of there are so many government jobs are offering in civil engineering stream. And the curriculum is set by the University and followed by the college is good. One suggestion to improve the teaching methods is too solve pervious year question paper and also provide videos of theoretical portions. And the exam are conducting in a sem with 2 series exams and one endsem exam after completing the sem.

I do the internship under K . s Nishad who is A class govt contractor. And we do the works of data collection, field visiting where the water tank constructed and visit the pipeline project site with no stipend

Placement Experience

The last semester students are mainly eligible for campus placements. So recruiters are came to my college is Sutherland, Koya and co, amerigo structures etc. only 30% of students getting the placements is comparatively low. My plans after getting the degree is to do another course which improves my skills

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is dependents upon the seat and mark of 12th. If above 90 percentage on 12th provide a scholarship with the amount of fee 25000 for one year. The complete cost of my education is around 1.5 lakhs.

Campus Life

The annual arts fest is called samanwaya and the tech fest is called gurutwa which conducting each year depending upon the financial state. There is a large library with so many books for each branch. Projector are provided in each classroom and light,fan other facilities are provided. In my college sports is not good at all. There is a club called prakriti which serves nature friendly activities and programs.

Admission

Eligibility of the course for merit and management seats is dependents on the entrance exam and the NRI seats are also there for 4 or 5 students with each branch. The application of admission is done by directly going to the college otherwise we can contact by applying online. The timing of exams are conducting in sem by 2 and half month for 6 month sem and each sem have two series exams.

Faculty

All faculties are qualified MTech some of they also graduated in PhD with there specified subjects. And some learning method is very good to understand others is not good at all. And the apporachability with students, some are friendly and can share everything with them even our personal

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Likes

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students
