Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really easy to understand. The topics are very useful in real world. Self learning materials are available to anyone as PDFs through University sites. Exams are comparatively easy. If you follow the study materials, you are able to give the exams pretty good.
Internships Opportunities
This is another con of doing degree through IGNOU. You don't get internships easily. You have to do it all by yourself. I didn't have any internship offers. Though one of my friends did their internship by using her connections.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course fees increases every 6 months. The course fees is charged yearly. It was Rs.3300 when I got admission. Including the admission fees and such it came to Rs. 3500. Then on the next year it was then incleased to 3500 then 4000 on the last year. Financial aid is provided for SC ST.
Campus Life
I am not sure if there is any club activities. There were none at my study centre. Then again it depends on your study centre. One of the cons of doing degree through IGNOU is that you can't enjoy the festivals you usually enjoy through regular college.
Admission
You have to pass higher secondary examination of any board to get admission. The application process is easy. Every details is available in the site. Although since there are multiple portals for admission then student portal and another portal for exam registration and another for exam results it can be a bit confusing. There is no entrance exam needed.
Faculty
Since the college offers courses through distance and open mode of learning, faculty-to-students ratio is very poor. Most students don't even get to interact with faculty members. Study centres rarely provide classes. I studied by attending classes in YouTube.
