All About My college

First of all I was pretty interested from my 11th standard to know about medicenes and vaccines so I opted for this b pharm course and course curriculum consisted of subjects that I feel very interesting. Curriculum provides us with full lab and theory learning and also industry visits to know about real life application and working in pharma field. I think lab facilities should be improved otherwise teaching methods and other things are very good your concepts will be cleared very well if u will focus in classes. Mst exams are pretty easy and scoring if u will study normally u can score good marks there is no need to study with full intensity if u will focus in classes you will be able to learn half thing in class only u just need to revise the thing taught in the class and it's done .exams are not difficult difficulty level is average.

Internships are provided in 3rd year it will be good If u do internship as it will help u give more preference for job opportunities. Yeah u need to make projects and working models for your college to get preference.

From semester 6 companies start approaching students. Talking about students so, their eligibility Is based on their performance in college some companies filter students on basis of cgpa . Some companies directly reject student if he/she have any reapper or back in subject. Highest package in pharmacy was around 12-15 lakh average package is 4-5 . From 100 percent students 30 to 40 percent get placed and other students wo don't get placed are those who want to pursue master degree or post graduate or want to open own businesses.My plan after graduation is either job or master degree.

Hey guys I'm a student of Chandigarh University, gharuan.So talking about the fees structure of my course it is around 240000 for a year (including lab fees) extra 2500 is charged for examination fee every semester and charges for hostel are 120000(4 seater non AC) fee structure if same for everyone( general, sc ,St) . Now talking about scholarship so University provides 10,15,25,40, 50,80,100 percent of scholarship. You can avail the scholarship on the basis of your 12th standard percentage or you can also give a test to get scholarship ,called cucet and on the basis of your score in cucet u can get scholarship.

Talking about festivals there I lots of festivals in campus I don't even know all of them. Cu fest is the most important one and other festivals keep going on in campus. Talking about Library so every block has its own Library for students and it's very easy to get book books are available easily. Classrooms are fitted with AC and projectors for better explanations. Campus has its own sports complex and other ground where u can play sports Take part in sports in which u are pro if u get selected to play in CU official team then u can get 100 scholarship too. Yeah students run information groups and other groups to help new and fresher student to get to know more about their course and to help them.

Hostel are of 2 types 4 seater room and 5 seater room. In room you will get 1 table 1 bed 1 Chair and a almirah to keep your things.(Both 4 seater and 5 seater) In 4 seater hostel u will not get any AC facilities only fan and duct. In 5 seater hostel you will get AC facilities. In my opinion u should opt 5 seater it will be a great option for . Meal quality is good u will not get bored. Hostel is i think affordable as it's 120000 for a year and u will get a room, all 3 time meals with snack time meals and gym facilities, water cooler and bathroom facilities. Theres lost of pgs and room available near university u can opt easily.but u need a DL in order to get a vehicle to travel college.

I choosed Two colleges other than Chandigarh University for admission which were upes, Dehradun and srm University. The reason was simple upes was Charging more fee for the same course without a scholarship feature and SRM university is in Chennai which is very far away from my hometown that's why I opted for CU. I didn't got rejected. I got many calls from college for admission but my reasons were simple To get admission in college u need to get 60 percent in 12th standard that is an eligible criteria to get scholarship u need to get good marks in cucet exam of CU.

Talking about the faculties I feel that they are very good (talking about my course, b pharmacy) teachers are very well experienced u will get the concepts cleared u can reach your faculty anytime they are always ready to help you. Now talking about examination so it consists of internal and external in internal there is 2 unit test mst 1 and mst 2 in mst 1 unit 1 syllabus is given and in mst 2 unit 2 syllabus is given and in external or final exams unit 1 + 2 + 3 all units syllabus is given in exams. Other than mst we have quiz assignmens and surprise test ( assignment 3 per semester quiz 1 per semester and surprise test 1 per semester) in my course u need to score 50 percent marks inorder to clear semester ( 50 percent can be achieved by internal+ external easily ). students who do not submit assignment and other things on time and do not prepare well may fail in exams and should give a reapper exam in next semester to pass .

No there's just a zoom call where few questions will be asked about u , ur extra curricular activities ur performance in class 12th and school etc Then u just need to provide money and u will get registered. No preparation is needed just good English speaking skills and are enough
