The infrastructure is really good considering other college
The college has a student freiendly and a stress free environment and students can have fun

The leave procedure are so hectic and tirering

Dental course is well know in all the countries and have a huge opportunity for work in other countries and in india also. Dentist are well respected and have a nobel job. Its easy to maintain a stress free lifestyle in this carrier

There is an internship for one year mandatory for every batch and will be given 5000 per month. And we have to work in all the department of the dental hospital and we will gain a lot of experience and it will help for oue future to chose an mds

Fees and Financial Aid

I have joined the course in 2022 and i did not get any scholarship so i had my fee 20,00,00 lakh for 4 years and there was a scholarship for minority and people who had scored in neet of about 12,00,000 or 15,00,000 at that time but niw the scholarship fee is decreased and the fee structure has changed little scholarship is only about 17,00,000 package and the total fee without scholarship is 20,00,000 for 4 years and the internship is stiphend is about 5,000 per month for a year.

The was extract conducted on 18 on yenepoya and the are some technical fest conducted once a while in yenepoya, and the is a annual sports meet conducted one a year. And there are some wellness and aware programs conducted between the classes

Admission

I had applied for nitte and srinivas for this course but my first preference was yenepoya because it has a great infrastructure and a good academics. We need yo eligible for neet and should have a certain cutoff marks to be eligible for scholarship.

Faculty

The faculties are good and caring about the student and the faculties are interactive and supportive some of the faculty are strict and have some issues with students and they do not give any compensation to the students

I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much,every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

Likes

A very good patient flow. We get to practice more. Since in dentistry hand work is utmost important.
Clinical postings starts from 1st Year itself. The student gets to know their area of interest from the beginning.
The faculties are highly experienced with deep knowledge about the subject. Both teaching and non teaching staffs are very supportive.

Dislikes

No freshers. No much cultural activities which can make the academic year a little boring. But they do conduct sports for 2 weeks long and cultural programme for 1 week long. They also conduct onam programme.
Waking up like a school kid and getting ready for 8 am class. The class timings could be from 9 am.
College is too far from home. I feel homesick. But i have to deal with it haha.

•The course is not that tough but it's not that easy too. •It requires dedication and time. •Theory is needed but in dentistry hand work is utmost important. •To excel in the clinics we should develop our hand skills. •A lot of patient flow helps the students to perform their best because they get tp practice more. •A lot of patience is required in this field. •One should have patience to get patients. •The exams are not very tough to crack. •Regular studies will help to score excellent marks •People also pass by studying from 1 month before the final exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i wanted to be a dentist. The student ratio Of boys and girls is 50-50 approximately The faculty staff is so big and helpful towards students. Professors are well qualified but the Teaching method isn't really good in a few subjects also 80 students so professors can't focus on individual students. Overall it's ok. Term exams are yearly annual exams. There is no semester system. It is hard to pass per year because the syllabus is so lengthy and subjects are hard. You need to prepare well to pass.

Remarks:

Our college get a lot of patients from the rural areas around. Therefore we get exposed patients with different kinds of pathological conditions. Which increases our knowledge and helps us to learn better and to treat the patients better.

Remarks:

College is in the very good place. College campus is mind blowing. Students will experience a very good climate and food over. We have amazing set of management who keep full entire campus clean. But disadvantage is that our college doesn't have proper network.

By seeing the college ambience and everything it looked good from outside until my classes started in yenepoya . Eligiblity is +2 pass with science background maths , physics and chemistry.
