Likes

The best thing about my college is in Guwahati I think best teachers or professors are from this university
75 percent is must to attend exams which can be good or bad according to ur perspective
Mentors are friendly and helpful if u r sick then they will surely help with attendance but u have to give prescription

Dislikes

Infrastructure it is kind of moderate but electricity problem and no Ac after paying high fees

I chose this course because I want to know about medicine and they are helping me with that everyday there are regular classes both theory and practicals. Exams are scheduled in either 1st half or 2nd half according to managements

Internships Opportunities

All medicinal companies from Assam offer internship with ADTU but due to not enough seats for students some have to go outside Assam because In a company they take only4-5 students and that is a problem of the state there are not enough companies

Fees and Financial Aid

Sem fees is 80000 but it's increasing my juniors are paying 90000 per sem and the overall fee structure for Bpharm is 720000 and I got scholarship in which I got 80000 per year scholarship name is Ishan Uday and I m a general caste student we all can get scholarships especially ST,SC and the fee structure is same for everyone

Campus Life

Attitude which is held on February every one of the best events of the year which is 2 day program on first day a famous singer is invited and in second day DJ is invited and also religious and cultural festivals are celebrated especially bihu. In classroom there is electricity problem. There is official account in instagram of adtu and I have joined robotics club,there are many clubs available and there is app and portal which u can open in website

Admission

I chose this college only because my brother have many friends from this college and they suggested this and I personally like this college from beginning and you should have minimum of 60 percent to get admission

Faculty

Student's relationship with teachers are professional yet friendly but not too much.there are 3 exams in each sem 2 sessionals and 1 final and the best faculty is from my own course only bachelor of pharmacy

A review of our college

Likes

Teaching stuff of our college is very good and they help us to understand things.
The environment of our college campus is very good
Our college library is very nice and beautiful

Dislikes

Canteen is not too good and small in size
Lift is not working most of the time because of electricity

I chose b pharmacy and this is a professional course. This course deals with medicine. After b pharm course a student become a pharmacist and provide medicine to patients.This course also deals with pharmaceutical formulations.

Likes

The overall environment is good enough for concentration .
College have good infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the city.
Faculties are well educated and only experienced teachers are present .

Dislikes

The fees is costly for some of the students.
During summer season the college don’t provide AC .
The machines are sometimes not calibrated for several weeks by the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good with decent packages in well known industries like Cipla, Dabur, Emami, Hetero etc. and if the students don't get the job then also they can studies further like Masters and pharmacy to get higher packages. The students can also get a registration number which can be used to open a pharmacy like retail or wholesale.

Assam University is a good University

Likes

The Assam University campus is quite large and has big big buildings for every departments. Buses are there for transportation facility and also these buses helps the students to travel to different areas within the campus.
The Assam University campus is very beautiful in terms of environment and it's pollution free. The campus has many cafeteria where students can have their lunch and snacks. Apart from that the nearby areas are also very good.
The people and faculty members are very helpful and supportive in every ways. They help us in all ways be it regarding studies or any other queries, they always try to help the students by giving them suitable solutions.

Dislikes

The bus timing is very inappropriate as the buses only run between the morning shift and evening shift. There are no bus facility in between these two shifts. So these should be improved for better facilities.
Result of every semester comes very late, so students mainly of final year suffer a lot due to late results which leads to delay in their future admissions and plans to other colleges. So this problem should be solved quickly.
The roads nearby the campus area is in very bad condition and due to which many accidents occurred. So this bad condition of road should be encountered quickly.

Remarks:

Well the placement of our college is said to be nice. If you completel the course without any backlogs then you are thought to be eligible for applying for placement. Most of students get the placement through the college placement cell.
