Dibrugarh University was established in the year 1965 by the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating University with limited residential facilities. The university offers UG, PG and Doctoral courses in multiple disciplines. The University Campus is spread in an area of more than 500 acres of which 60 acres are still covered under tea plantation. Dibrugarh University Admission is made through entrance exams. The university also accepts CAT, MAT, CMAT score for MBA.

The university has a variety of Bachelor’s, Master’s, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD), Advance Post Graduate Diploma, certificate courses and doctorate degree programs. The duration of UG and PG courses is different. Applicants are advised to check Dibrugarh University Fee Structure before applying for any of the programs.
The University offers undergraduate courses like B.Ed, B.Pharm, BCA, B.Lib, B.P.Ed, BBA, B.A in Performing Arts, B.Tech in ECE, CSE, Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering, and 5-year Integrated B.A LLB Hons. To be eligible for admission to UG courses, candidates should have passed class 12 in relevant stream with minimum required marks.
The registration is done through online mode. Candidates who wish to apply can submit the application form on the official website of university. The selection is done on the basis of entrance exam which is conducted by the university followed by interview round. Qualified candidates in both rounds are considered for admission
The University offers a variety of PG courses such as M.A, M.Sc., M.Com, M.Ed., MBA, M.Lib.Sc and LLB. Candidates having graduation degree in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks from a well-recognized university or Institute are eligible to apply for PG courses.
The selection process constitutes a written test followed by GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview). The final selection is done on the basis of overall performance of aspirants.
