- I liked that the college crowd and seniors were helpful and motivating in nature and didn't used to cause any chaos and pandemonium.
- Canteen food is good and also there are food options available near college so you can go and have lunch
- Teachers are really very helpful inspiring and self motivated and driven to teach you and provides notes on time
Dislikes
- Campus is small but well maintained .sometimes delay is made on turning on AC of the classroom
- Guards stop from leaving college if any function is going on
- Labs for bjmc department have macbooks installed but bca which is more tech related has low end computers which is a disappointment faced
Course Curriculum Overview
Like most of the colleges in India the curriculum is old and not industry specific however we cannot say that no improvement has been made regarding curriculum because there are many new age relevant and helpful subjects like artificial intelligence, machine learning,deep learning cloud computing and web security been taught which are the latest and trending subjects and they are included In the college's curriculum For improvements I would like to conclude by saying that instead of creating a curriculum where only memory is used it should be more application specific and apply should thinkings caps
Internships Opportunities
I did internship from intrainz edtech and appwars technology both of which were suggested by my college. They didn't offer stipend but gave me digital certificate which is helpful in getting grades in summer training project subject during the 5th semester. I made bank management system project using python and I also made library management system using php and blood bank management system using c#
Placement Experience
Students become eligible to sit for internship from 4th semester and they start getting placement fromthe beginning of 5th semester and the process is continued until most of the students have job offer with themselves
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is around 1.5 lakh for one full annual year which consist of 2 semesters and since bca has 6 semester that means the total fees is around 4 lakh. There are scholarship on admission based on the marks in boards exams and also they provide special relaxation for ews category students. Usually college lowers the fee by approximately 50000 per annual year which hugely impacts and lowers the burden of fees on the parents of the college students I got a placement at a software training company for 3 lpa but I did not pursue it because I have bigger ambitions and want to grow as much as possible but yes you can look forward and join placement from here if you do not intend to pursue masters or giving Government exams. Some students also opt for going abroad to pursue their masters after they have completed their bachelor here. Most of my batchmates paid the same amount of fees as most of them were from unreserved category and 1-2 people from bca batch got scholarship.
Campus Life
There are fests happening in college every year and there are multiple society like frames for photography udyami for nss and many more to join during the college time and you can definitely enjoy along with your studies
Admission
60% marks in boards are required along with a decent rank under 3000 in ipu cet bca entrance exam and then they will easily and surely provide admission to you. The paperwork is a lot during the admission but I think it's necessary due to increase in no of forgery cases and people coming with fake degrees.
Faculty
Most of the faculty members are highly qualified and skilled with almost all of them having a bachelor's and master's degree and they are also pursuing PhD. Faculty teaches with the help of power point presentation and with the help of practical labs Teachers are very much approachable and we can even message or call them regarding any academic related concern and they are always ready to help and guide you in the right direction.
