There is no ragging in this college college is ragging free.
Eco friendly college with less plastic waste.
Improve sports and cultural abilities also.

Dislikes

Faculties are not that much involved in student improvement.
Animals are randomly going so the college verandahs.
College libraries are not easily available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Now this computer science is the most desired course by most of the students but the scope of this comprehensive declining nearby years. The curriculum is not applicable for any placements it is just for your upliftment.

Internships Opportunities

Any companies like TCS microsoft Google are providing internship opportunities but qualified students are only availing internship. Web development cybersecurity web development based projects are done by students.

Placement Experience

Final years students are actually getting placement before that you can do internship if you want. Highest placement offered in our college was about 58 lpa. About 50% of students are getting placed. Many companies from technical side are offering placements in our college. If I didn't get any placement I will be going for pursuing higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Main total course fees for the college is 10000 rupees. Other course fees includes Peete fund club fund etc. Reservation students will get full refund.Exam fees are beyond this 10000. Merit scholarship are availed for students below a particular income.

Campus Life

Campus life is good and interaction among students are also easily available in the campus. There are many technical and cultural events occurring in our campus . Flagship event known as Dhyuthi is the main event. Many books are available in library. Any clubs and sports and curriculum are also easily available in the campus.

Admission

I was a bio science student in my place to but I didn't get any medical school so I joined this GEC Thrissur. Was told that this institution was wondering the most prestigious institute for engineering in the state. Admission is provided after qualification of students from keam examination. Students under state rank 1K is required for admission.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is around 60 students to one faculty. Faculty and student relationship is favoured. Students can easily approach the faculties. Ramesh sir in the department of physics is very good at his teaching. Exams are there on series and semesters exams are overall moderate.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students
