Life of Jacob and his Choices

To be honest the curriculum was a bit outdated. They need to update it. For our CSE batch we had more theory subjects than coding. Some theory papers were too wast. And also the way of teaching should also be improved. Teacher should be more engaging with the students. The timing of the exam was ok that's all.

I did an internship in many companies. We also did a mini project called "Radar Speed Sign Detection" and a main project called "Smart Waste Management System Using IOT". Each team had 4 members and are allotted to a guide.

To be honest placements were down in this year. Many MNC companies were not hiring on that year. But also a few companies come and given their tests. Some got selected but some doesn't. I also got one placement in a company called Sutherland but didn't go because i want to study a 6 month course.

The yearly fee for me was 110000 cause I opted NRI seat. Caution deposit was 10000. Admission fees was 1200. I opted bus and that was around 10000 per month. Lab fees was includes in the fees structure but i didn't recall the correct amount. CSE branch was the most expensive branch then comes civil then mech then ECE then EEE. I didn't get any scholarships.

We had technical fest called YVIDH and it was average because the college doesn't provide enough funds. Many Clubs were there but only a few were actually active. We had a big library with lots of books.

Actually i went to Saint Gits college but their fees structure was way to high its not affordable for me so i drop that plan and search other colleges with my budget rate. Then i heard of St Thomas College and their fees was affordable and from the first look onwards i like thats college.

Faculties were good compared to others colleges. All are friendly and help us by all means they can. Some has more knowledge while some has no knowledge at all. Exams were normal but sometimes it's a bit hard to crack (my opinion) otherwise it's ok ok.
