Remarks

As per me, I am Extremely glad that I joined Aims as it helped me shape my personality. I would highly recommend Aims to everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is in sync with corporate needs. Over and beyond the curriculum, the faculty takes a personal interest in students development. They focus on industry readiness and thereby involve the students into a lot is simulation-based exercises, guest house, case study, PDP etc.

Placement Experience

5

The college had in those days nearly 95% placements. I did my organizational study in Ingersoll Rand and my internship in Asian Brown and brewery. I got my first job in Infosys.

College Events

5

The college had several events. If I can recollect these are the few Induction program, Intra college fest, Intercollege fest, JAM, Stock Market, Teachers day, Sports day, Farewell, There were many more such events, however, can't recollect every 16 years old memory.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mine was if I remember it right 60000 for year one and 60000 for 2nd year. I did not stay in the hostel and thereby dint have hostel and food expenses. There were no other expenses over and beyond the fees. There was a uniform expense but can recollect the amount.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was fun and learning. The gender ratio during those days was 70:30 male: female. There were several extracurricular activities like mentioned earlier. We have computer labs and dint need labs for any other subjects We had cricket competition between classes, debates, JAM, stock bases activities, etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Absolutely. I am Still in touch with few seniors and they have even helped me in me securing new clients.

Admission

I got the seat through management quota. There was an interview conducted by our principal ma'am and thereafter basis the performance in the interview I got a seat with Aims Institutes. This was in the year 2001 roughly around the month of Mar-apr.

Faculty

5

We had the best faculty at Aims. They were our teacher, guide, coach, mentor and also someone that we still fall back during the time of need. As the faculty hand held me and the rest of the students, we developed a bond that still exists after these many years. Me greeting a job and growing up my career ladder is due to the college and the college and faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The overall PGDM course is significantly well-structured and includes a good balance of theortical concepts and practical learning. One of the several reasons I chose GIBS Business School was its industry-oriented curriculum, which emphazies case studies, live projects, internships and skills development alongside core management subjects.

Placement Experience:

Since we are going into our 2nd year, our batch hasn't been through campus placement yet. Based on previous batch records, though, students are typically eligible for placements from the 4th trimester onwards, once internships are completed. GIBS had a strong track record, with over 200+ companies visiting campus, including names like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra Finance, etc. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, and average package was around 8.3 LPA

The placements are good. The college has totally 6 semesters and after the 4th semester the students are eligible to attend the placements. The students need a minimum of 4.8/8.00 CGGA to sit in the placements The companies which visit here are - EY, KPMG, Mindsprint, Lowe's, Accenture, Tata Power, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Sabre, Oxane, Well's Fargo. The highest package was from Lowe's and the package was 23.7 LPA and the role was Product manager, it was offered for people from engineering background and with 2 years of experience. The average package here is 10.5LPA and most of the companies come for this range. The percentage of students getting placed is close to 95% as some of them don't clear the eligibility and some don't get placement event with good CGPA. College provides a proper assistance for placements, all students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there, placements starts for summer internship one two months after entering the college, the procee is on till maximum of students gets placed. In and arround 50-80 companies visit campus for hiring and offers is made to every possible students eligible. Highest package stands at 18 lakhs and is between 10 to 11 lakhs. Nearly every students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there. Ambition and aspiration in my views changes as time proceeds, so I believe in short term goal making, though my plans post degree is to get placed in an MNC to kickstart my career from good position, where learning graph is very high.
