The curriculum of this course is very good and relevant which help us in real world I like more accounts related papers it influenced my decision to choose this course The curriculum helps us to create a strong base for further academic pursuits It should be better if the curriculum includes papers which teaches the basics of accointing softwares The exams are conducted twice every year frequently exams are not too tough

Fees paid yearly Year1 : 21000 Year2 : 25000 Year3 : 21000 Itm college of arts and science mayyil is a private college affiliated under kannur university. For a bcom student there will be 6semesters equally divided into 3years. Each sem will be having a fees range of 10000-11000. Admission fee of 2000 should be paid ath the time of admission and caution deposit of 1000rs will charged at the time of admission out of which 500 will be given back at the time of course completion Lab fees are charged for semesters which have lab practicals For students having more computers based and lab practical papers they will be charged extra fees charged as lab fees There are some scholarships or financial aid that are available for students like as e-grantz which acts as a financial aid students to reduce their burden on exam fees .

Overall experience with campus life is very good Annually there will be many festivals like ? college day held annualy in december ? freshers day in august ? Holi in february ? farewell in feburary ? union day after the election of new union There are many categories of books and journas available in the library There are many facilites and technological provisions within the classrooms like projectors speaker etc There are many sports and extracurricular activies offered within the campus like handball,football tournament, badminton, cricket,running race etc.

I expected to join a govt college and i applied in many govt college as my 1st option and many private college s After the first allotment i got admission at sir syed private college and i joined there temporarily Then after 2nd allotment i got admission at itm college and i waited for a govt college till 5th allotment . Then i joined itm college as it was the best self financing college in kannur Admission process consist of many stages first stage is application then after that they will issue an allotment at their website and remaining vacancies are filled in further allotments I applied at sn college kannur, brennan college,prnss college, sirsyed college, itm college And i got a confirmed admission from itm college i choose this college because it is the one of the best self financing college in kannur Yes I got rejection from govt colleges because i dont have a marks that matches their minimum requirements Admission process wad simple and minimum requirement for courses are 12th

Faculties are divided to different departments and in each department there are 10-12 faculties which gives a faculty to student ratio of 1: 10 which helps teachers to monitor students performance easily Faculty of tax is good and her way of teaching helps us understand everything I like every faculties every faculties are very good There are almost 32 exams in the whole bcom syllabus every sem will be having 5papers except for 5th and 6th sem which have 6papers each Exams are normally average level not too difficult and course curriculum is relevant and uptodate Average 20% of the students fail to clear the exams
