- the college is at very Beautiful place. we can see the mountain of Darjeeling from our ground sometimes. it is the biggest medical college in west bengal.
- as our college is located far from my home time, i can stay at hostel with my friends
- the weather at my college is good , rain happens very often
Dislikes
- our campus is full of garbage and dirt . the authority should look after this.
- our campus is very toxic, full of toxic people and toxic rumours
- Library is too short in our college, and the ac of library doesn't work
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course after visiting a hospital near my home town. Curriculum will provide me internships for future.. and even right now we go for ward classes for clinical exposure. fir example in first year there is very much chaos for 1 cadaver. which is not good for this novel course
Internships Opportunities
there is compulsory internship in the hospital with a decent stipend of 30000 rupees after the completion of the course for one year we can learn to treat the patient in the real world and treat the disease we also get scope of higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
I will pay 9000 rupees. college fee which is for complete year including for tution fees, caution fees etc.. but registration fee is defferent thing.. there is no other fees structure for any kind of reservation in our college. currently I don't get any scholarship
Campus Life
there used to an Annual festival called Plasma. that is also known as Durga puja of north bengal medical college . In this festival we take part in many sports and cultural program in that festival. many artists come and many are invited in it
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is very dirty. bathrooms are specially very foul. the meal is very bad. we can't eat the cold food. there is no taste in it. the hostel is given by dean kf students affairs this affordable by everyone who apply for it
Admission
Nilratan Sirkar medical college and hospital I was already selected by North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. so I didn't apply again for NRS I was selected by Councelling procedure. we are selected by that method
Faculty
the faculty to students ratio is very low in some department few facilities are very good and few are not that good good faculties help us in every aspect in study.. but others are don't . Previously we used to give 9 exams in our full course. but now the curriculum has changed and we still have no idea how many exams we will appear.
Interview Experience
I don't remember exactly. but was good. we all had fun during Group discussion. everyone was discussing in it about many topics of their syllabus, their topics ar so lame. used to get bored of those topics everytime
