Likes
- Everything was perfect. The environment and all, you get a typical college environment,also other co curricular activities were also given equal importance.
- Since, two out of three years of my college life went in lockdown, I didn't get much opportunity to involve in other activities but I did make the fullest out of it , in such a short period.
- The faculties were amazing, friendly, caring and mostly importantly a true mentor. Compared to other colleges in india , Shillong is a city where people are very kind with each other. During my tenure I never felt the generational gap with teachers.
Dislikes
- Nothing. I loved everything about it. Those college days were dreamy for me.
- Nothing I hate about my college. It was an amazing experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
Initially, everything seems to be perfect but as you upgrade youself with semister the difficulty level upgrades too by itself. But it's nothing like impossible. If you don't understand anything, you can ask the professors,who are always ready to help you. About the exam it the same like any other colleges. 2 semister per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
For 1st semister, ( including admission and other colleges expenses) it's was ?16,000. But the course fee increases a bit semister wise. But it's still affordable enough for someone who's seeking an admission in BA
Campus Life
Though my time over there was very short but I thoroughly enjoyed . Starting from my regular classes to college weeks , everything was perfect. Not to mention "everybody" you meet will be the nicest person . Most importantly as a fresher or as a new girl in Shillong I never ever had any bad experience with any locals of the city. Infact I was very friendly with my seniors and never had to experience regging (which is so important to mention).
Admission
Honestly, this college was never my first choice. But my parents really convinced me to join this college and I'm glad I was a part of this college. During my admission , I gave entrance in two other colleges but after doing the campus tour, I was so sure in my mind that this is the college I want to be in (only if I crack the entrance,which I did). Not only academically but if have any other hobby you can showcase it during the college fests. You will always be appy.
Faculty
The teaching faculty is good , infact very good, you can go ask for any help you want both studies and personal. They are always open to guild you. But the non teaching stuff like the one who take cares of admission processes they seem to be very rude for no reason at all. Personally, I never had any bad experiences (yet) but I happen to hear a lot about them being rude to students. So better to be safe.
