- Studying Architecture limits the time available for life apart academics
- The library has an early curfew time which limits time spent there
- The facilities like drinking water and lifts could be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the curriculum has things that not very relevant to the course. The theory subjects contents could be improved so as to benefit practical output. The internal exams happen twice in a semester by around 2 months apart sometimes the time is not nought to complete the syllubus
Internships Opportunities
The placement for architecture course is not much compared to engineering courses. We are required to go for internship in our 7th semester. The companies we get into depends on our portfolio. Good portfolio provides opportunities to get into good firms
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee is around Rs 9560 tution fee alone as a merit student. Additional fee is paid for hostels around Rs 6000. Scolarship opportunities are provided for students with financial difficulties each year.
Campus Life
College has various clubs on different fields like sports, arts, etc. The library has a very wide range of books collection. The cultural and sport events are encouraged in the college. Even tought the facilities can be improved
Hostel Facilities
One room is provided for 4 students with 2 bunk beds. We have to change hostel each year and only our first year hostel is good and spacious. Ithers are a bit cramped. Its locate from a walking distance to college. The food and hygiene can be improved
Admission
During my time of applying to colleges my college was known for its architecture course. I had got in different college before but this college showed a better result. I was accepted by considering my NATA score and KEAM rank
Faculty
Most faculties can be approached when you have doubt. There are certain faculties who consider each student individually. There are separate exams for theory subject apart from jury im which some subjects' syllubus is not efficient
