the population around the college is very less and it takes time to go to main town
College is new so no that much internship oppurtunities
When a new branch is started then the faculty is very less and it take time to the teacher to come

Course Curriculum Overview

My Course is Computer Science Enginerring doing my specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. The term AI and DS is boosting in around the world which influenced me to opt this degree. According to me Mre attention towards children skills should be focused. Students must be industry ready instead of book worm.

Class Size: 82Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our batch of Computer Science AI&DS is first batch. So internships are not available. But companies visit to our institutions for guest lectures. Companies from nearby city Chandigarh come such as infosys.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, it is semester system in odd semester we are paying about 16000 and 12000 in even semester which include hostel and other charges also. I'm a girl so ther is no tutuion fees. for boys of genral catagories it'll increase about 26000 for odd sem and 22000 for even sem.

Campus Life

The Fest in our college is known as"EMERGE". IT held in the month of October or Novemeber. There arre varity of books available in the library. There is smartboard and whiteboard in the classroom. The Computer Depertment have around 40 50 computers havin i7 processors. The ground is not much good only number of sports are played there. There are many clubs in the college and they organise many events.

Hostel Facilities

The room is shared by 3 people. one bed, one table and one chair is provided to every student. There is balcony shared by other room also. The washroom facilities are quite good. The mess is private mess. The quality and menu is average. Hostel is quite affordable as compare to other. Hostel charges are very low. There is wifi facility.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

I Choosed this college only as it was much near than any other colleges. I also like the course they are offering us specialization in AI & DS. The college is new so the infrastructure is aldo well modrenised. During the admisson there are many other colleges which come under HPTU. Admission are on the basis of JEE Percentile / HPCET Score/ 12th basis.

Our College is in very far from the town. Most of the teachers live in the hostels so they can be approached at any time. Our College is new so in start there was shortagee of faculuty members but slowly teachers are getting transferred to our institution. on an average student give 6 exams and 4 exams are college based exam and other 2 exams are held by the himachal pradesh university.

Lack of auditoriium so most of gathering will be in open air theatre

The campus really respects diversity. Students from different states and countries study together and that inclusion makes a big difference
The infrastructure and fab faculties are unmatched, for people dedicated to carrying out research, they have almost everything atvtheir disposal
Extra curricular activities make sure one is involved in multiple volunteery things rather than just academics

Dislikes

Relevant placement opportunities with good packages can be improved
The fee for courses could be regularised
Mode of exam conduction should be completely offline to ensure transparency

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in last semester. They can choose to sit in placements and select if they would like to join the company theyve been selected for. Eligible candidates do end up getting great packages

Campus is very good and nice view from college

Very slow wifi speen and only 1 gb per day

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

the fee structure are affordable for any one and hostel are also very cheap
they also help student to build cinfidence as many event are there so a person can loose his stage fear
the support of teacher for students is very good

Dislikes

i would say that the computer labs are not in very good conditions
the computer are not even advantageouos for aiml student
the infrastructre is not that good even no wifi facility

Placement Experience:

so as the first batch of cse ai ml is going to passout this year so there is no record of placement but hoping that their placement would be good as per teacher's expectations and also they provide intership in iit mandi

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

Likes

Hostel fees is quite less despite providing many facilities.
Mess food is tasty and campus is small but clean and beautiful.
Curriculum is up-to-date. Teachers are helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

There are many unnecessary restrictions in hostel.
Sometimes you have too wait too long for food in mess.
Less events are organized and sports infrastructure is not too good.

Placement Experience:

Placements are average , it totally depends on the students skills and their cgpa. From 5th sem students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys, Redhat vistited the campus and made more than 200 offers. 171+ companies visited. Highest package is 1.11cr, average is 6lpa. 70% students gets placed. Planning to go in tech related jobs in industries after getting the degree.

I like the campus, there is greenery all over the campus.
Sports and cultural clubs and the festivals
very good wifi facility in the campus. And good gender ratio in institute

Dislikes

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

I applied to AKTU, IPU, and a few private colleges. I got selected in 2, but picked this college as it has low fees, good teachers, and fair job offers. Seniors also gave good reviews about the labs and coding help. Yes, I could not get a seat in IPU due to low rank. I was close but missed the cutoff for CS. My JEE score was not high enough. I did not apply under spot round as I had already joined this college. Admission is based on JEE Main or state test like HPCET. Cutoffs differ for each branch. You need to pass 12th with PCM.
