Course Curriculum Overview
The course curricilum os good. We have certain core subjects that we must complete and other optional subjects that we can choose. Each subject has 4 credit points and we must complete about 200 credit points by the end of the course.
Internships Opportunities
The college has a scheme where we can register for internship. According to our experiance and field of interest the college allocates seats in various law firms. Apart from that we can ask our faculties for help or choose our own internships. Finallg we must complete 20 weeks of internship and must submit final report in the final semester.
Placement Experience
The college placements are the highlight of VIT. Not just our department all ither departments have incredible placements. The strting package in itself ranges from ?50000 and VIT corraborates with the top legal firms in india.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees per student is roughly ?170000.students can avail acholarship according to their rank in the entrance exam. Fees per batchmate changes according to their scholarship. Bus fees, hostel fees all ate paid separately
Campus Life
The campus life is great. There are several clubs like literary clubs, sports clubs, music clubs, dance clubs etc., each host their own events. Im part of Thanima which is the malayalam literary club. Aport from that Vibrance and TechnoVIT are the most popular fests of VIT.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel administration is very strict and partial towards female students. Our curfew is way before the boys. We are not allowed to go out during the weekends and during the week days we must get permission from ohr proctors and the alloted time is only 4 hours. The mess keeps changing and mostly the food is good. We can choose veg or non veg mess accordingly.
Admission
This college was listed among 20 best colleges in india and very popular among peers. Though vit is onown for its engineering department law school is not that less. The college accepts all natinal level law entrance scores.
Faculty
The faculty members are phd scholars and highly knowledgeable. But now there are shortage of faculties hence research scholars take classes. They are new to various subjects hence not that experienced.
