Course Curriculum Overview

4

The main factor that made me decide to take this coarse is that, we have a final year project which will really make us to use all the knowledge into practical aspects. But I think there should be small project work ka in every year so that we could improve our self in a better way. The exams were conducted on time without any lag but the results wasn't announced accordingly, because they were lag.

Internships Opportunities

2

My college didn't help us to get any internships, but we had to try for ourselves to find one. Faculties will provide the informations related to internships but they were not supportive enough to get one , but they were really helpful to get some job placement. I think they are not well aware of the importance of internships and all.

Placement Experience

4

There is an excellent and active placement cell in our college. From 3 rd year we could start apply for different jobs via placement cells. There were lot of companies who visit like TCS, MRF, BYJUS, COGNISENT,SOUTH INDIAN BANK,FEDERAL BANK etc More than 80% students will get jobs based on their capabilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the entire coarse is 34600/- or yearly 8650? was paid. This includes tuition fees which was 6250?. We had to pay an admission fees which is was 2500? and this is not a part of total fees mentioned above. There is no development fees or lab fees, since it is a government college lot of such feeses was not there. For those who has resevations thay didn't have any tuition fees. They only had to pay 2200? per year which will credited to their account by Egrants scholarships.

Campus Life

4

I should say that my college helped me a lot for being an independent person. Having a bachelor degree wouldn't make one a good social being but we need a lot of experiences and knowledge to be good human beings. It is not easy to get to know how the social system work, but since my college atmosphere was strong enough to encourage me for get know people and made me socialise more often, I have enough confidence to be a part any society or group.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel was good enough to get to involve in academics and other projects. There was two students in a single room. Toilets and bathroom was common for about 50 students which feels little difficult since we had to get up early so that we could reach college on time. The was a high speed Wi-Fi .

Admission

I applied for two other colleges which are under the same university, CET Trivandrum and GEC Kannur. But I chose GEC Trissur. Considering the ranks GEC Trissur was good and they provided more placements. We should pass the +2 with minimum 70% mark and we shoul qualify an entrance exam called KEAM.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is exact as needed, for my class there was only 60 students and for each subject there was a faculty which Inthink sufficient. All faculties are really helpful for academic related issues. they will provide their maximum effort and resources for helping students. But for things other than academics all faculties are not that much supportive in nature, may be age gap would be a factor for that I guess. There is one Lal sir Subaida ma'am, Deepak sir ,Asha ma'am who really support us and encourage us for think out of the box and make a good social life and try to make us a good human being. In each semester for each subject there will be two exams before the final semester exam. We had to score a minimum mark in these two exams in order to get qualified for final exam. All students will clear the exam , even though they are not easy , a student who make effort to study could easily pass the exam.

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.
