What Students Say

Likes

The laboratories are well equipped for practicals.
Fests are regularly organized with a high emphasis on technical aespects
Regular visits from companies like TCS, Infosys etc.

Dislikes

Courses need to be market aligned and focused towards industry
Canteen services need an improvement in quality/standards
Libraries can be equipped with faster network connections

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses were comprehensive however over the passage of time they require regular updates to remain relevant. With advancement of AI technologies and automation it is paramount that new industry oriented courses are added

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 31000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

At he time i paid a semester fee (6 monthly basis) of around Rs31000. There are 2 semesters each year and a total of 8 semesters. The fee did not increases over the 4 year course period. Other then the course fee the student have to pay an exam fee of around Rs 800 each semester. I also availed hostel facilities which amounted to rs 12000 for accomodation and Rs 6000 for canteen, so a total of Rs 18000 per semester.

Campus Life

Campus life was enjoyable, with numerous activities and opprotunities to learn and grow. Some examples are reular fests, intercollege competetions and vocational workshop and project visits. The library facility was top notch with high quality materials.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well furnished, spacious with proper electrical settings, cleaning is regular and over all ambience is great. The food quality however can be significantly improved by including proper balanced meals.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

It is regarded as the best college in Chhattisgargh for B.E., I was targeting the same when I began my preparations. The admissions are highly competitive and the college has a good placement record hence the choice.

Faculty

The faculties were approachable and knowledgeable in their own fields. The institue is one of the best in Chattisgargh. Most the faculties were decently experienced. Regular labs, vocational excercises enabled a practiv=cal approach and aligned the course towards industries. The only issue would be the over all course design which was not in the purview of college but the university. Overall, it was an elightening and great experience.

So I didn't applied for any other college other than BIT. The admission process was very simple and hassle-free. All kinds of exams are accepted like CAT,MAT,XAT etc but the number of addmission is limited to 200 students I think....Read More
