MLNC Review

Well, I chose B.com (Tax Procedure and Practice) because I wanted to do something different not like general B.com. And, college had this taxation course on which I did my research too and ended up choosing the same. As GST implied in 2017, they added GST in our course also. Professor also gave their best to teach us the same, though there was no book or particular study material available for GST subject as it was just implied then. But our college made sure to provide us the proper notes on the basis of the daily amendments and analysis. In terms of exams, we need to take 6 exams for the respective 6 semesters and the exam papers are always upto the standards.

There are not much internship opportunities provided by college. They need to improve this area much. Being a taxation student we need to do the internship after 3rd and 5th semester which we did on our own. We had to find the firm for the internship which was difficult.

Placement plan is quite helpful. A student becomes eligible in 5th semester to sit in interviews. Guardian, Wipro etc. visited with 175+ offers on an average. I also got selected in guardian interview for the package of 2.5 lacs with designation - process executive.

On an average, the yearly fees is 2500 till 2017-2020 batch. However, the fees structure is designed in a way where it increases yearly. And there is scholarship system available on the basis of quota and caste category.

Talent shows are organised every year to hunt the talent out of every new batch and provide the platform to the people who never stood on stage and never get the opportunity to meet themselves as an artist. Apart of that different business programs also organised to enhance the knowledge.

This is an irony and idiocy at the same time that i applied for this college only without considering the possibility of not getting selected. I have applied only for this college due to the course B.com (taxation) as it is not available in other colleges also. Admission process is easy but eligibility criteria is in average an applicant need to secure 80% but might be different for other courses.

1 faculty member over 36 students. Faculty members are well qualified and experienced in their fields. They support the students in terms of courses and personal development as well. In my batch, I liked Professors Pallavi Mam and Vandana Mam, due to their dedication and way of teaching. Vandana Ma'am used to keep every student up to date with the syllabus on daily basis. There was nothing much to dislike about the faculties. However, one thing to highlight is that some members need to understand the students requirements in terms of courses.
