C.V. Raman College of Engineering stands to be the 4th best college in the state of Odisha in India. We take Odisha-Joint Entrance Examination or AIEEE to get admission in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Best in class and set a bench-mark. Courses are approved by AICTE and the college has NAAC and AICTE accreditations. The college comes under Biju Patnaik University of Technology which provides all the courses for specific specialisations.
Internships Opportunities
It is a bachelor's degree program provided by the college and it is private so there is stipend offered. Though students can take up any kind of part-time jobs outside the college to get their extra money.
Placement Experience
When I left the college I got placed in 4 companies and companies were still streaming in. So placement in 200% that is a student can get upto at least 2 jobs.
College Events
The college celebrates annual techno-cultural fest once in a every year under the supervision of the final year students. Apart from that regular competitions keep coming up and students have the liberty to conduct and organise competitions or functions as and when they like.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. It includes the tuition fees and an additional training program fees which are conducted for placements. Apart from that if the student stays in the hostel they pay the hostel fees or if they take college transportation facilities they pay for transportation else people with own arrangements for transportation and accommodation do not pay anything for hostel and transport.

The food is hygienic and good. The hostel comes with a room for four each with a separate bed, table, a chair a mini locker and a large cupboard to keep stuff.

The college seniors are very helpful. They help every new comer and when you get to be the immediate senior you do the same for your juniors and the trend goes on.
Exam Structure
In the 4-years Bachelor's degree course there are 8 semester exams. Each year two semester exams held every 6 months. Apart from that students give 2 internal exams before the semesters and laboratory exams. Project submissions are also a part of it.
