Course Curriculum Overview
It is designed to provide a core understanding of area of subjects as well as advance knowledge in industry as well. The core subjects are highly relevant to both academic research and industrial applications. The curriculum is often comprehensive , offering a mix of theoretical foundations, practical laboratory work.
Internships Opportunities
I did the intership in Ichrom research lab under Mr. Nandan Dhir in analytical chemistry. Main equipment I worked with was HPLC. It was a great opportunity to work with. And they really shaped us for the real world by giving us industrial training.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester fee-30,000 Examination fee-2000 There are various kind of scholarships or financial aids are available for students who have 90 percent in graduation courses and also financial aids present for candidates belong to economic weaker section.
Campus Life
The campus life in Chandigarh University was really a great experience for a life time. We enjoyed every bit of it. There are various fests organised in campus but The CU fest was one of its time. We all really enjoyed it and made memories.
Admission
I did not apply for other colleges. I wanted to take admission in this college because of its reputation and elegance. This university has a very easy and hassle free admission process. Their education counseling department was very helpful in all the the admission process.
Faculty
I think faculty student ratio is 1:50. The faculties were quiet approachable and flexible. They are very passionate about teaching. Dr. Ajay Sharma and Dr. Harvinder singh were my favourites among all the faculties. Dr. Harvinder singh was also my mentor in report thesis. He was very helpful. Each semester, there are mid terms and then final exams.
Night Life
I was not a hosteller. So, I really don't have a say in hostel life. We just hang out at canteen in the college campus near the admission block. The classes are off around 4 or 5 pm. But during the fest, we stayed till late so its quite good and safe ambition in the university campus.
