Course Curriculum Overview
I already had a commerce background so i opted for bcom hons. Hons in available in economics and management from 2nd year. The college has a merit system and comes under panjab university. Practically college organises the fest and commerce activites to encourage entrepreneurship. Mst was there which was before the sem exams for 1 week
Placement Experience
There is a career placement cell in college which provides placement and i got placed in teleperformance through the cell and other companied were also there like hdfc, escalon, amazon overall. Students are usually placed in companies in last semester before exams. 60 to 70% students got placed. After the degree i want to continue CMA.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the entire course i paid 16000 approx each year so total was around 50000 and also i had to pay 3600 for each sem's examination fees. And scholarship option is there thru alumni and overall a grear college.
Campus Life
In the college there is library from which we can borrow books and NSS and NCC is there which is really great. There are fests every year and punjabi actors and singers are invited. Youth fest is there in which college partcipates. MOSAIC is there which is annual fest of college. Outsiders are also allowed. There is a red ribbion club and several other clubs in college too
Admission
Actually panjab university has a merit system so i applied to all the colleges which comes under panjab university. So in 1st counselling i had this college and in 2nd counselling too. So thats why i got admission in this college.
Faculty
Teachers are really great and supportive. I had a commerce faculty so Shefali mam and rita mam a great a really supportive. I didnt like geeta mam which is in fees department she is really rude to students but overall all teachers a good. In each semester 6 to 7 exams are there according to course. They are modertly difficult.
Night Life
Not that great night life as college is in front of burail a village so not that great but in near by sectors there can be a great night life. Cafeteria is great food is good there. Inside the college its not a great place to hang out but panjab university is a great option nearby
