Course Curriculum Overview

4

The BCA course is a very opportunistic course as it gives numerous chances of developing a future in this field. I chose it because computer applications is the need of the future. The curriculum is focus exactly on what the students need and want to learn with updated syllabus and new languages. I would not want any major improvement in the course except adding more programming languages.

Internships Opportunities

4

My seniors in my college have been employed in many world renowned companies and are being given good packages like Amazon, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. Some of them were offered a higher because of their good percentage and knowledge of the field. I have also created a project named Electricity Billing System in my final year of BCA and my teachers have appreciated it well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees I paid for my college was 19650 in my first year which was increased to 22000 and 27500 in my second and third year respectively. The above mentioned sum of fees in each year includes any tution fee, caution fee, lab fee etc. My batchmates from different categories had different amount of fees. There is a scholarship named Samaj Kalyan to aid economically backward students.

Campus Life

4

JNVU has many events and clubs for students for their overall development. Annual events like Anandam, Shristi, etc are held every year along with fresher party and farewells. The library is very big and has thousands of books in store and the students can issue them anytime and are to be returned within two months. The college has very good technical provisions which increases its stature. The college also holds many sports activities and events annually with many sports like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, rugby, etc.

Admission

I also applied for Lachu College and was selected for admission there. But I chose JNVU because of its esteemed faculty and the ex - students who have passed out and it is one of the best college in Rajasthan. The admission process is very simple. The form filling is followed by merit lists and the cut off is pre decided by management. The selected students are notified for further process and thus the admission is completed.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 1: 60 in my college. The faculty are so good and friendly and are always available to us in any we want like on phone calls or in between free classes. Personally, a teacher named Rakesh Saxena is my favourite. He teaches us Java Programming. He knows over 10 programming languages in detail. Some faculty develop a personal grudge against students which is bad. There is an yearly examination system in my college and they are of moderate difficulty. Approx one or two students fail the exam.

Night Life

5

The night life in my college is more than excellent in my point of view. I have never enjoyed more in my life. My friends and I play video games and many fun activities in our free time which makes a hard day's study even better and releases our stress. We also hit the gym and play badminton at night. Some go to the library to study before sleeping. The campus is perfectly safe for all students as there are guards stationed around and in the campus especially in dark hangout spots.
