Course Curriculum Overview

3

Studying law is essential for all of us as it is essential for us to know the law that govern us. We can study it far more easily than we experience it to. It is not that difficulties to learn it and can be interesting as it goes.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are mandatory for students. Each student should finish the prescribed internship as per bci guidelines. Internship opportunities are available in most of the government offices here and we do have our own clubs to get internship seats.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is not huge as it is a government institution. The student has to oay just the starting admission fees including the pta fund. It would be listed by the government in the allotment memo. The college do provide scholarship for lower income students based on their income and merit. It is I think?5000

Campus Life

4

Campus life is overall good. The library here has certainly huge collection of law books. But is short in literature texts. They have it now. But not in an expected amount. We do have a number of clubs both academic and otherwise. Including moot club, mun club and arts, theatre, dance, literary, etc..

Hostel Facilities

4

College Hostel us onky provided from the 2nd year. The admission starts once all the final years have vacated from the hostel. The fee here is very affordable and the mess is handled by the students themselves. We do have a number of pgs and other room facilities available around here in different price ranges.

Admission

I chose this college for two main reasons. Firstly it was the only government law college that offered ba llb course. I wanted this specific course so ichose this college. Next i wanted to be in this place, Trivandum and also this college as it is home for so many aspirants in may fields

Faculty

3

There are handful of good faculties and they are all qualified enough. Tehy do support us in our academics and also many if them support in evey thing we do. The exams are moderate to tough. The faculties here do prepare you fir the exams and other things well.

Interview Experience

4

No. It was based in our klee ranking. We have a entrance test for this admission and then according to our ranking we get seats in college we have applied through allotment processes. The allotment is three phased

Night Life

3

The hostel timing is 9.30pm.the night life is also good here. The campus timing is also the same. We can see students around till this time. Students can been seen in the reading room and also other places doing their things or having fun

The moot court competitions and debate competitions are conducted many times in a year which are very useful for a law student.I wish if there are more interested college competitions then it would be more useful.Usually there is a gap of six months between two exams and during that period students get enough time for preperation.

Basically i like the course very much. I reside near to the college so i decided to take admission in CSIILS. And also the college is very good. Well disciplined. The curriculum prepares me for real world applications very much. The teachers can improve their teaching methods via shortening the portions. Exams will be conducted every 4 to 5 months the toughness of exam is average if you study properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am passionate about the legal profession. In addition, the course is 5 years long, with dual degrees awarded upon completion. The program is excellent, but the college faculty is appalling. Some people are natural teachers, while others come to obtain experience in their chosen industry. It's also a problem because new professors come and go frequently during each semester, which is a horrible practice because it disrupts the continuity of the classes and makes it impossible for the professors to assess the pupils. Although the facilities are qualified, none of the staff members are qualified to teach or explain subjects to students. Some are seasoned professors who can provide the most up-to-date information, while others are below standard. Exams are not difficult if you follow the syllabus you can pass. You'll also have to write more on the answer paper, which will be difficult to do in the time allotted. The faculty-to-student ratio is unfavorable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams usually conducted in two parts as semester ways. But due to the current covid situationno exams has been conducted upto this date. I think some times they probably go for a online exam. Because in kerala the current situation is bad. In the whole India kerala is facing more challenges. The exams are more difficult to pass. The criterion for passing the exams are really hard. Probably the passing average is less compared to other colleges.
