What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very good and provide decent facilities.
Club are best part of college, club are formed for many activities like web development, hackathon, and cultural event
Environment of the university is decent no harmful and suspicious activity run here.

Dislikes

Research facility and research paper quality is not up to the mark.
Student of the college are not very smart. the less competition environment among student.
Syllabus for engineering curriculum needs to be update it is old.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is old not as per new trends in job market It's has for all engineering subjects like operating system, cloud computing, c, c++, networking and many more but job trending technology like mern stack, java full stack is not here. Needs more practical teaching style rather than theoretical. Level of exam is easy everyone can pass before one night study.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees structure of the structured is given below Per Sem 60000rs. Library fee 1500rs for complete course. Security deposit 2000rs one time and it's refundable after course is ended. Total fee of course is under 3 lakh

Campus Life

The social environment is very good not like movie but decent enough for enjoying and making networking with new people. There aur many technical events like IT Utsav and web development program. Club like codex for coding and many other clubs are formed for technical and social development.

Admission

The main reason of applying this college is located it is near to my house and have decent choice. I compare all other universities but all have same and below average as per this university The admission process in very simple on the basis of 12th percentage you got admission even if you have 50% in 12th standard you got selected and higher the percentage higher the scholarship in fees.

Faculty

Faculty for MCA department : The faculty of our department is decent not bad or not that much extra ordinary. They are helpful in nature try to resolve problems. The ratio of teacher and student, one teacher teaches entire class but only one subject. Research quality and innovation should be improved

Night Life

The nightlife for college is decent and secure. For non hostler college are closed at 5pm. But in some cases like event and competition the night timing is not applicable. The fest event at late night is very good and enjoyable with friends.

MY Journey at RIT

Likes

The thing I liked the most about RIT is the additional training it provides from GFGs, IBM and LnT etc during the academics.
Other thing I liked about RIT is that it is affiliated to government university, its not a private university. So your value increases as you get a Goverment degree.
One thing more I likes is the place Roorkee where the campus is locates. It very near to dehradun and Haridwar so you can visit there and enjoy on weekends. Roorkee also has so many good place to visig for Food and fun.

Dislikes

The college should organise more workshops and events with other fellow colleges.
The hostel food can be improved and better in taste. Breakfast and dinner is good, lunch cam be better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Decided to do MCA from here because my Close friend who studied from here only got placed in Dhanguard, which is a Dubai Company with 22 Lpa. The Course Academics provided a good knowledge both theoritical and practical. I enhanced my Coding Skills to a different level because of training provided by GFGs. Areas that can be improved is that they can conduct more Workshops and technical events with fellow Colleges.

Likes

The number of companies that visited and did process witht the college for my course - MCA, was th highest among all other universities offering the same course
The scenic beauty of UPES campus, is outstanding. 2-3 years will glide off beautifully and with very lovly memories

Dislikes

Some of the student crowd, which was just there because of scenery and addictions, was very irritating. Staying away from such people was a task

Placement Experience:

The best a college can provide in these financially difficulties, is provided by UPES. The number of companies this college brought, has out-ranked any other college/university providing MCA course. The highest was a 25 LPA package at Salesforce.
