No social life is a negative.The course is apt for persons with an engineering mind set. The more you have passion towards engineering the better you will be able to enjoy the course. The branch can be selected according to ones interest.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are less compared to other govt colleges. But they are not nill. If you are mechanical then you have mrf , and if you are of any other branch you have tcs. the college does not provide any internships.

College Events

Every festive occasion is cellebrated in the college , they consist of Holi , onam , Christmas,etc In addition college day , union day ,etc are also celebrated. The celbrations may not be upto the standards when compared to other govt colleges but they are good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure considering it is a govt college is quite feasible. Te tution fee comes around 3000 and the bus fees around 750 and exam fees around 1700. The fee structure is pretty affordable and can be even funded by scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college as a whole does not offer any scholarships but from the government, scholarships are provided. They are egrants , pmss, central sector , etc . These scholarships can be availed according to ones income , accademis and yes reservation.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities include football, cricket, basketball, batminton , etc . One can choose accordingly to their personal preference. The experience and fun which comes from these are of a kind.

Alumni/Alumna

The allumini network is small but effective , byjus the learning app creator byju is an allumini of our college and list goes on with several ias officers, ips officers , etc. They help by providing funds during necessary times.

Faculty

The faculty is good and helpful in every means. The advantage of this college is that it has a lot of permanent faculties. The immense list of permanent faculties do help the students in academics. Doubts can be cleared any time of the day without any hesitation the faculty members will help.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The college ambiance is good and green campus and plastic free
Lot of plants are trees are situated in the campus
The campus maintain the rules and regulations of the campus

Dislikes

In my course the qualified teachers are not allowed
Very less programmes are available in the college,
The canteen is not well developed and ambiance is poor

Curriculum of my course is good it covers all about the subject and its give a good knowledge about the subject and the teaching method and the hours of a topics also good. But the syllabus is not good for the timely complition.

College has a good infrastructure with big ground for sports events. Our faculties are very supportive to our curriculum activities. But some other facilities we need . To improve their facilities they need more spaces.

A practical choice with quality education

Likes

Firstly i likes the campus its very beautiful and naturally buided
Second i love the central library of our college its amazing.
Third i like the infrastructure of our college its perfectly balanced.

Dislikes

I didn’t like the restroom of our college its good not perfect one.
Second I didn’t like the some classroom its very old model.
Third I didn’t like the bathroom structure its not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculam as moderatly relevent and fairly good .which is one of the main reason i choose this course . And i am very passionate about history teaching method and i want to become a history teacher these was the main reasons i choose the course.

The college campus is not that much big and it's fine for us. There is taking new building and the working is still processing.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

The college is situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram
We can easily access the town and major places
We get exposure from this college and contact with well established aluminious

Likes

Better hygeine , clean and peaceful surronding for a student to study.
Extra curricular activities: like sports , arts , quiz competition , cme programs are held for better purpose
Lab facilities are presnet for better teaching .

Dislikes

No proper campus for relaxation and extra time after college.
Building is under construction with workers most of the time.

The curriculum we follow is cbme and they provide with us a better competitive areas and competancy based learning. We have feild works and community works than the collge areas . Will let the student to think out of the frame . The exam that are held in colleges are mostly difficult bout not that difficult that an average peraon can acheive mark if they work hard or give their mind to the subjects.

My experience about my college

Likes

Smart class room is super and magnificent
Wifi availability is inside the campus and fast connection
International level infrastructure drinking water availability

Dislikes

No better placements, very poor placement services
Experienced staffs is less and very few teachers is good
No regular bus service in to college and is very poor

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like electrical and electronics so i choose this course. The curriculum prepares me well in the field. Need Improve in internship field. Need improvement in friendly teaching. Exams are coming so fast we don't get much time for relaxation.. Exams is simple.

Our college is one of the best self financing college in Kerala. Our college is situated at Golden hills of vattapara. Our college comprises of about under graduation courses and post graduation courses on eight departments.

An honest review of GCE KANNUR by a student

The college is merit based admission college, to get admission in this college you have to write an entrance exam which is KEAM and I have a rank of 16000 in KEAM So the college I first confirmed admission was GEC Kozhikode which was a good college but the campus was too small so there was a spot admission which was held by GCE kannur and I applied for it The admission process is managed by KEAM they give you a date to take admission and the process gets done in 2hrs you have to be physically present with your parents , The overall admission experience was smooth and well managed by the faculties...Read More
