Course Curriculum Overview
i choose bcom because it provides knowledge of many diverse fields like finance accounting law costing and many more which helps me to know my interest and pursue accordingly. in this course there are many things that are of no use but it is there and students need to learn and write only no practical relevance is there
Internships Opportunities
the placement cell in our college provides many internship opportunities to the students who are willing to develop their skills and gain experiences of the corporate sector. stipend generally ranges between 4000 to 10000 on the basis of job role and the company. placement cell also serve as a mediator between the company and student and help build the professional relationship
Placement Experience
students of 3rd year are eligible for the placements in the college. companies like ey,wipro,icici prudential,bank of america and many more visited the college for recruitment. average package offered is 6 lakhs and the highest package offered is 21 lakhs. but only few students get selected only which is almost same in every college.my plans is to pursue professional course.
Fees and Financial Aid
first of all lets start with the college fees in first year i paid fees of rs 15105 in second year i paid fees of rs15175 in case of the reserved categories students fees is same however some sscholarship is also provided on the basis of merit. exam fees fluctuate as per the subject and practicals in my case exam fees is 1410rs
Campus Life
First of all the life in the sbsec is very vibrant and good and due to evening classes the college look even more good.the facilities provided by the college is decent which every college provides normally. there are many societies like the sangharsh,nuke,innoverz which students join according to their interest and skills. the recent fest in the college is divyotsav 2.0 which is very decent
Admission
i had applied for many college like srcc ,hindu,hansraj and many north colleges but i could not get admission due to my cuet marks even though i scored well but i belong to general category which makes it very diificult for me. but i like my sbsec much more because the infrastructure and facilities of my college is continously improving which is much better than many top north campus colleges. the admission to these colleges is through cuet exam which is mcq based exam. generally bcom is most preferred in this exam. another reason i selected this college is that it is suitable for those students who are pursuing professional courses.
Faculty
facullty to student ratio in my college is arount 1 teacher for every 40 students which is quite well as the teachers can intereact with the students . all my teachers are very good but i most liked the fm teacher which makes practical examples to teach the topic and also make fun with us
Night Life
favourite hangout place of the sbsec students is the college canteen and the friends kitchen nearby however anothere place is the authority which has the nightlife.nightlife in the college is not so good because college do not provides hostel facilities. it is safe to roam around the college campus but in late night it is not safe overall it is delhi
