- My university have great campus facilities such as many sports and studies facilities.
- My University also organises many fests which encourages students to engage in creative activities such as arts and many different cultural activities
- The University also provides a good facility for food and beverages for the students so that they don't need to worry about food and health.
Dislikes
- I don't like the timings for the outing of the university as at night as it is only 8:00 pm and after 8:00 pm no one is allowed to go out of the university campus but i think it is for our benefit as it provides security for students.
- I think there are not much fancies in the college but I also think that it is for our own benefit so that we can easily focus on our studies
- For me our timing for the classes on the weekdays is very long since it is from 10:00 am in the morning to 6:00 pm in the evening.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I liked it very much as it provides great knowledge on how can we create robots and do many great things with the technologies. The curriculum of this course provides great compatibility with the technologies since it gives us many opportunities to engage in real-life situations to tackle them using our creative and innovative minds. the frequency and timing of the exams are great because we only have mid and end-term exams each semester which gives us enough time to prepare for our subjects and engage in other innovative events and things.
Internships Opportunities
Various companies provide internships in our college like Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS and many more with an average stipend of 8 lakhs per annum. To get great opportunities in the internships we have to do various projects related to our course and to increase our chances for better internships and jobs.
Placement Experience
The placement in our University is great as each year about 90% of students get placed. From the 6th semester onwards the students get eligible for the placements. the companies that visit are Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, DCS, etc. The highest packages from our university are 56 lakhs per annum and the average package is 12 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my course i.e. B.Tech CSE specialisation in AIML and IOT paid in the first year is 220000 for the academic, 59000 for the hostel and 20000 extra for the security fees. Similarly, each year the academic fees increase by 6000 and the fees for the hostel each year are also different. The fee that I had paid during my admission for registration was 50000 which was adjusted in my previous academic year. There is no variation in the fee structure for the other casts other than the general. The fee for the other branches is also different as the B.Tch CSE branch (no specialisation) has fees of 176000 as the academic fees for the first year and a similar 5000 increase in the upcoming years. My University also provides Scholarships based on merit as the criteria is that CPI in each year should be greater than 8.00 for the continuous scholarship in the next years. The university also provides scholarships provided by government bodies such as Samaj Kalyan and others after proper verification of the documents. The amount of Scholarships provided ranges from 50000 to 70000.
Campus Life
my campus life currently is very great but we did not have clubs around our campus. But we have many great concerts held on our campus like Stebin ben came to our campus recently, the accessibility and range of books in our library are very great. All the classes have great technical support since all the classes have smart projectors for better teaching.
Hostel Facilities
There are basic facilities that are provided in the hostels like cleaning of the room and food facilities are great. when we come to our hostel for the first time we get bed and Almira and a light bulb and table and chair for studies
Admission
I had applied to VIT and BITS Pilani but I couldn't go to VIT since it is very far from my home town Agra and I wasn't able to get into BITS because I was not able to get good marks in its admission. The admission process in my college is very simple as first, you have to take the admission test and then after the results are announced if you have cleared the exam than an admission letter is sent to you and then you have to act accordingly.
Faculty
The student-to-faculty ratio in my university is around 1:50 having some great professors and teachers and we love the relationship that we have between our faculties and us. One of the faculty I like the most is our mentor for machine learning and that is Mr. Devendra Rathore as he has great knowledge of the subject and is very generous to the students. One of the teachers that I didn't like is our teacher Mr. Deepak Mittal sir who takes our Electronics lab as he is not very generous to students and also sometimes scolds the students for no reason. We have two exams per semester i.e. Mid-term and End-term, the level for the exams is moderate which focuses more on practical knowledge than only theoretical knowledge. Only a few students fail to clear the exams since they don't study hard enough.
Night Life
We can go out of our campus till 8:00 p.m. but after that, it is not allowed to go because of the safety concerns of the students. there are many facilities in our campus such as great cafeterias and a luxurious and wonderful library.
