Perhaps they may cut us some slack on the college timings. Maybe Lunch break could be a little longer

Course Curriculum Overview

The course, Curriculum and exam structure is well organised and keeps the students busy and involved in the subjects they have taken up. Class tests are taken to ensure students are working om their subjects and CIA and preparatory exams are taken very seriously.

Placement Experience

Senior batches got placements satisfactorily in companies like Amazon, Wipro etc.

College Events

There are events almost every week and extra curricular activities and fests are always looked forward to in college. Mayurika Fest was awesome and Recipro is upcoming for us first years. Freshers party was also a blast. There are theatre fests too if you join the club

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a book bank facility for students in need of books from the Library. I had to produce an ST certificate

Campus Life

Debates are held in class to make the topics more interesting and make sure the students are well informed. Marks are given for Extra currciular activities and special attention is given to Clubs. Sports, NCC and NSS are the Major Club for most studemts. Campus life is enjoyable.

Hostel Facilities

Safe and secure environment at the college hostel with strict timing rules, if they can adjust to the timing, everything will go fine.

The Alumni came to hold LSDP classes for us and share their life experiences and skills they have gained. most seniors are very helpful and respect the freshers

Admission

I got into the college through an interview with the Principal of the college Who asked about my percentage and family details. Admission process was easy and fast.Applications were taken in the month of June as classes started in the month of July..

Faculty

Dedicated teachers with a friendly spirit. Can be approached regarding any problems. The journalism, psychology and Optional English teachers are well qualified and keep a good student teacher relationship throughout. Movies or roleplays are shown in class when students are distracted.

Why Azim Premji University?

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(English) course. Because I was quite good at English that's why I chose it. And I still Didn't go to college. Because our class starting date didn't announce by the college (Kittel arts college, Dharwad). That's why I have no idea about teaching staff and facilities. Of course, I hope it will be the best that I heard about this (kittel arts college, Dharwad) college. I heard only positive comments about this college.

Best college for all round growth

Placement Experience:

In the final year students become eligible for placements and we have placement cell also. In 2nd year only we have attended 2-4 news channels interview and training. But due to pandemic, we didn't attend placements and all. And our seniors to didn't attend for placements because they are interested in higher education. So the percentage of placements is not clear, but for us, they prepared fully to attend any type of job interviews and also to handle all juniur of news channel and newspaper.

St claret - an honest review

I was too late in applying for other colleges as i was opting for the medical field and neet was messed up this year along with nedical problems. This college was chosen for its relatively lower fees and good atmosphere, helpful faculty and environment. The admission process requires a uucms registration , online admission form and an interview before you get the message of selection. Better to view the campus and hostel before coming. Would recommend living in rent houses if possible. Theres no entrance exam, you're asked to submit your pu marksheets and grades of any other entrance exams you've taken. Also accepts cbse and isc icse boards for north east students. Admission is smooth long as you pay the fees and fill the forms on time....Read More
