Course Curriculum Overview

Best up-to-date course curriculum with latest programming languages. Course materials are provided at a nominal cost. One can also choose elective subjects in accordance with our interest. Exam is semester wise conducted on June And December in an year.

College has an incubation centre of kerala startup mission. students having creative ideas can start an enterprise through the fund provided by incubation centre Thus lots of job opportunity are provided to students. College does not provide internship

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible in all sense. Fees can be remitted monthly or sem wise. One can also have the option to pay yearly fees with 10 percent reduction. Lump some fees payment is also available. Bank transfer is also possible which make's more convenient

Loan facility is not offered now for PG courses. But graduation courses have loan facility with an interest of 7.5 percent. Documents of nativity certificate, parental authorization letter, bank account details and Aadhar card copy is required

Sports coaching especially cricket and football are available. Get best coaching from best coaching instructor. Software development labs are available to create new generation programs. Web development labs and app creation labs are also available

Facebook alumni is available Through this alumni new thoughts on creation of enterprises and new technology are shared by the senior students. Whatsapp group is also available. A channel is also started in telegram and YouTube by seniors, which is very much helpful

Applied by filling the Application Form, which is of Rs100. Merit list generated by college and Got 46th in merit list. Called for an interview, called for certificate and mark list verification and finally got admitted for MCA

Best Experienced faculty members. Seminars on latest technology conducted regularly. Classes are conducting using PowerPoint shows. All classes have projector equipped. Revisions are conducting regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed MCA at Nirmala College due to several reasons: • It is a course which is open to anyone who has passed any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% and above. The only prerequisite is that one need to attend the annual LBS MCA entrance examination to secure admission to this course. • The syllabus of MCA in this college is affiliated with that of MG University, Kottayam. It is a vast syllabus covering various applications of computer science including programming in various languages such as C, Java, PHP, Python, data structures, algorithms, statistics, data mining, machine learning, software engineering, networking, etc. • The course is theoretically good but practically it doesn't really equip all students with enough knowledge and understanding to be placed in a good IT company. Some portions could be excluded from various theory subjects such as Networking with TCp/Ip and Algorithms Analysis.

Placement Experience:

As all other Professional colleges, they are offering placement support to get students placed in the top companies around Kerala. If a student is appearing 3rd sem or 4th sem they will automatically be considered for a placement chance. The top companies which recruit from this college are Technopark and TCS.therevare approximately 50 placements are currently made. Even they recruit people the salaries are low for a fresher, as they're below 25000 rupees. Currently, I am thinking about looking for a job in foreign countries after getting my degree completed.

Not bad, not great

I chose St thomas because of it's reputation. It has been there since 1800's. Besides it is the only college in the state if kerala with this particular course and I say that is very impressive.
