Course Curriculum Overview

I am a UPSC aspirant and preparing for civil services exam so I choosed of taking Arts for my further studies as I can give my more and more time for my UPSC exam preparation and focus on my studies as well as there are various topics in arts which gave me more knowledge for my UPSC exam preparation

1 - I had paid Rs five thousand as my annual fees for three years course 2 - I had not done any tuition during my college I managed my studies with my self study Admission fe where Rs five thousand And additional library fees five hundred I have not got any reservation as I belong from general Category 3 - my every batchmate had a same fee of Rs5000 per year 4 - scholarship where available under Mumbai university of ten thousand

Our college have been very active in conducting additional festivals and other different sessions in your college for help and motivation the students for example sports day , annual gathering and many other festivals

I had applied in Gogate Walke college in Banda for my BA degree and got admission The admission process was very easy as I had need to fill the admission form of the college and pay the fee for the admission and the admission was confirm

Faculty

Mr Joshi sir and Arondekar sir as I belong from the English department student of beachlore of arts this both the sir helped me a lot in solving my difficulties and also guided me for my future and further studies

Night Life

Yes over college also had gym and other additional things in our college for motivation students and help them to grow in the future And mainly the campus and the hostel of our college where very clean and well maintained

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

missing on college campus because of space .

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Likes

Cultural fest and sport events are very nice
Practical classes are very interesting and help in visualizing human anatomy
Hostel facilities are very nice and provide good facilities

Dislikes

No mess or canteen facilities are available in college
Sport ground is not too big and has less equipments
Boys Hostel is 6-7 km away from the college

Curriculum is competency based which tries to help in overall development of student in all aspects. Every subject is given equally attention. Every department conducts seminars, different sessions in which students has to present different topics on stage which help them build confidence for speaking on stage.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.

Nice Learning Journey at GVAIET

l applied to other colleges like VJTI and Sardar Patel but got admission only at GVAIET. I chose GVAIET because of good faculty, updated syllabus, and better placements. I missed other colleges due to lower entrance ranks. Admission here is through CAP counselling based on MHT-CET. Eligibility is HSC and Diploma.
