I liked the environment and teachers of the college
The facilities are good and hotels are neat and clean
College principal and teachers and the union body all are good

Dislikes

I dislike about the cultural activities in the college
I dislikes about the ragging and some workers behaviour
I dislike the people who make dirty of the appartment

Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to choose the curriculum of Hindi because I love Hindi and I want to become a Hindi professor of Hindi department in nowgong college and I suggest to improve the area like sports and cultural activities

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

All the fees are paid.and of my batchmates fees are lower than me because I'm was a student of OBC category and I have a practical subject. I did not get any scholarship or financial aid but so much aid are available in the college

Campus Life

I enjoyed most in this college because in this college I feel strongly that I can do anything. This college gave me my strength how to talk with others person all the positive thing gave this college so this college is my emotions

Admission

I choose and apply for this college because this college is my dream college it is the centre and famous college of our nogang so I decided to apply only inthis college and I get the faculty what I have choosen

Faculty

The facilities and faculty are good.the best faculty is Hindi department because I m a Student of Hindi department I didn't like mostly science faculty because all the teachers are rude in behaviour. There are two exams one sessional and other is final.

Night Life

Unique salon, one stadium district library near hostel of girls and boys . Hostels timing line morning 9 am to 7pm Hangout place like the inside of campus brindabon and outside so much park and resturant

My thoughts about my college

Likes

Faculty members of our college is very good
The thing i like that teacher in our college use projector to teach us
In our college, the students get to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which i disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare it with other colleges
In our college we dont have clean toilets, and the toilets smells very bad
The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now thr college environment is healthy enough for a student to perform

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i want to appear for civil services examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career, in our department out faculty trach us in a decent manners, but there are some improvements needed with time

Likes

I liked the overall environment of our college
My department (Geography) Faculty members are very good.
The teachers not only help in academics but also guide us for our better well-being.

Dislikes

Construction is going on in the college campus.
Though it has gain the autonomous tag still didn't get any such benefit.
The toilets are very unhygienic and have very bad odour.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.

When I saw a professor doing the hypnotize process. The curriculum activities are much help to the future or the present generation. For the course curriculum, it is huge so deep explanation is required. No problem in this aspect.

I like the way the teachers of our department interact with us. They are very friendly. The campus is very good. We had sitting place for students to sit and relax when they don't have classes. We had a good playground.
The students of silapathar college are quite wonderful, friendly, helpfull.

Dislikes

Things I don't like about my college is , the principal of our college is quite rude, doesn't interact with the students. He don't even allow to enter to his office.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose English literature because I want to study literature, wants to study more about people. In our department there are very few students, 60% are girls and 40% are boys. We had four teachers in our department, namely, DR. PUBALI BORA KASHYAP (Qualification: M.A, Ph.D., UGC- NET), PREM PRASAD SHARMA (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL), Gitima Deka (Qualification: M.A., M.PHIL), Raju Pegu (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL). The teachers take tests continuously.

For admission, anyone who has passed his/her 10+2 in any stream can apply by going to the online admission portal(website) but at the time of mine, there was no such facility so We use to go college and apply directly by filling the form(paper-based).

Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.

Beyond the classroom: An interactive study of college life.

honestly this college was more preferably cost friendly and flexible from my own hometown and this is the main reason i chose this college over other colleges. I applied to cotton university, guwahati university and arya vidyapith college besides this but managed to get into only arya and my current appointed college. My admission process was based fully on online mode and depended mainly on my high school's percentage but i did appear CUET as well just in case.
