Remarks

Since this college is based in Kerala the north Indian students would take time to adjust to the place. This college is located in pulincunnu which is a small village in allepey Kerala so you would not get to enjoy city life. The nearest town is 12km away. But the atmosphere is good there are backwaters so lots of natural beauty. The education quality is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good. There is 8 semester in a total duration of 4 years. There are internal and University exams. It is compulsory to score 45 in a University exam out of 100 and 75 out of 150 to pass a subject. You have to pass every semester for the award of degree.

Placement Experience

3

The placement opportunities are good for the noncore branches like CS IT ECE but not so great for civil mech eee. But you would get a chance to sit for it companies so getting a job is not so hard. The college does not provide internships.

College Events

2.5

There are several cultural and sports events celebrated like onam, Christmas, Eid and then there's college fest named sattva celebrated every year it comprises of sports cultural events which lasts up to 3 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for first year is approx 1 lac and then approx 40000 per semester. This is only tution fees. You have arranged for your own hostel which is available in plenty which would cost you around 6000 per month including the room and food.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship for a student who tops in the semester exam per semester of RS 10000. You can get a student loan from your bank in your town. It's a reputed college so getting a student loan will not be much difficult.

Campus Life

3

There are very few opportunities for extracurricular activities. The labs are good and have been improving every year. For CS,it,eee, ECE lab facilities are excellent but for mech and civil you may have to go to the university for labs in the 5th,6th semester

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is not provided by the college. Private hostel is available under 6k with good rooms and north Indian and south Indian food. The hostels are nearby the college. Small hostels with 30-35 people good atmosphere in hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no alumni network until 2017 but the college has started it in 2018. The first meeting is scheduled for next month. Anyways if you are in touch with your seniors they will help you whenever you need them.

Admission

I appeared in a test named CUSAT-CAT and on the basis of rank secured in the exam I was called for counseling. There are various stages of counseling 1st regular admission then spot admission I got the admission in spot rounds.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are quite knowledgeable and helping too but the medium of teaching is English only so those who are very weak in English would face problem to understand the lectures. But with time you would get through so don't worry.

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
