Remarks
Placement cell should be better. This is the part needs Improvement.Almost all thing are awesome but why We study? Some for job ,some for business and some for their own knowledge.So the people who came here with a vision that he'll surely got an job shouldn't be sad. Placement cell should be better.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bachelor of Commerce is a course done by almost 70% of people who done their I.COM but the reality is they don't focus on what to do they just focus on what will come into examination.They never ever think about future jobs. But believe me,If you do your B.com with full attention you'll surely get succeed in your life. Exam pattern is not too tough. You have to give 2examination in each semester.(one is internal and other is external)
Placement Experience
As I am not completed my degree till now I am not aware too much about it but placement and job opportunities are not too good because the course is really a basic course. If you're good in Accounting and finance then you'll surely got an job but don't think too much about campus selection.
College Events
Fun Fest, Fresher's Party,Saraswati Puja,Annual Day ,World Environment Day,Gandhi Jayanti,RIVERA and too many events celebrated each and every year in our college.This is one of the best thing that each and every interested student be a part of this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
This is the question came in mind in almost all Students but trust me Fee structure is not too much.It is feasible,I mean almost each and every student can pay and study here but the admission process is little tough.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I haven't availed any loan but my one of the classmate who came from Uttar Pradesh got admission with the help of scholarship because our college provide scholarship to needy students but I genuinely Saying I don't know about Loans.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are backbone for any college. If you're good at academic you'll get good marks but if you're good in sports too you'll surely got help in future. Talking about library,this is the biggest room in my college. As I love to read books,I spent 1/3 of my college time here. Books are new and you'll find book other than academics too.
Alumni/Alumna
When I got admitted in college,I was really threatened about the Ragging. As a Regular newspaper reader,I was aware that it is a punishable offense but I was threatened, don't know why. But when Classes started Senior student came to our class and give us details about Fresher's Party and tell us to not hesitate for any help.they were really amazing
Admission
When I passed my Intermediate examination,I was super excited for taking admission in P.K.ROY college because of it's name fame and result.As it was the best college,too many students came and filled the form for be a part of it. My 12th marks was not too much but it was enough to get admission.Almost after a month of filling application form,I saw my name in merit list but there are around 130 meritorious selected among 300 student but college have only 80seats. Now it's the same condition you feel when you do a government job examination. Perhaps,after 2days I was called for interview. I go there,There was a panel of five interviewer and this is the first time I was facing a interview so I was little nervous but the panel was good.They told me not to hesitate and ask me too many questions about my academic life, personal life and so on. Because of my English speaking ability and out of the box thinking, They select me and I got admission.
Faculty
Faculties of my college are really awesome.I mean not only in lectures, they help us in their free time,in Staff rooms and you've not take any tension about what they think about me because they are really amazing.
