Course Curriculum Overview

3

My curriculum is average due to no proper support from the University itself because of delayed examination, students have to wait nearly for one and half month for their end sem examination. I chose this curriculum as it was matching my cut off and I felt that curriculum would be matching my aspirations.

Internships Opportunities

3

Companies such as TCS, Wipro offer a internship for any domain and they provide a stipend in and around 5k-20k for a role of junior software developer or web developer. In the last year, the college gives a mini project as a task to add it in the experience column of the resume

Placement Experience

3

After the 6th semester, Students are eligible to apply for internship and placements of their respective branches. Companies that have visited includes : Tata,L&T,Wipro etc. Percentage of students getting placements ranges from 81 to 93% My plans after deegre is to go for masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees of the college is 71,727 from which the tution fee is 63,636, The development fee is 6,364, The student activity fee is 1000 and University Fee is 727. Under Post Matric Scholarship For OBC Students, I just have to pay 38,500 as rest of the money is paid under scheme

Campus Life

3

Names of annual and technical festivals are: Utsav,Sparsh etc. The library of the college contains multiple journals of various genre. The students have their own student association where the issues faced by students are kept infront of staff to get it cleared

Admission

I had applied for other various colleges such as K.K Wagh, NDMVP, PVG, Sandip etc but in the first cap round, I got selected in MET Bhujbal in the first round itself and I found it a wonderful college at that particular time. I didn't got rejected from any other colleges as I got selected in the first round itself. To get admission in our college, you need to match your CET score with the cutoff of our college

Faculty

3

The faculty student relationship is moderate, the support that the staff gives to the students is not top of the notch but they try to provide needed information. The total exams in a semester are 4 which includes 2 class test 1 mid semester examination and 1 end semester examination

Night Life

3

Our college has a huge canteen where students from multiple branches come together and have lunch. I am not aware about hostel timings but the campus timings are between 8 to 2:30 and 10 to 5. The locality is safe well within to roam around

Other Applied Colleges

KK Wagh Education Society | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Engineering)

My results couldn't match the cut off required for admission in that college. So, I couldn't reach there

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

AISSMS College of Engineering - [AISSMSCOE], Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (VLSI Design & Technology)

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud, iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.
