Likes
- Girls to boys ratio is 1:3..my class has 22 boys and rest are girls
- The campus is comparatively smaller than a private school... campus is not much bigger
- Teachers are well educated and well behaved. They don't interfere with the external matters of students
Dislikes
- There are 4 floors in the college but there is no lift
- There are no ground for playing games and for physical activities
- There is no facility of hostel in the college campus
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is not specified for real world applications... but it may help for future academic pursuits... teachers can increase the hours of practical session so that it would help in real world applications...the timing of exams is 3 hours abd there will be at least one holiday for preparation
Placement Experience
Our college provide only 1-2 companies for the placement...which preferred only those students who are willing to work in the production of the pharmaceuticals in the industry....i want to go to heigher studies...like masters degree and then phd The highest package our college offer is 2.5 lakh per year
Fees and Financial Aid
We have semester system here per semester fee is approximately 30000 rupees Se there are 8 semesters...and a sum of 2.5 lakh is total fee...our college also provide government scholarships like pragti, ujjwala, technical scholarships..girls got maximum upto rupees 50000 per year as scholarship.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is very small No festivals are celebrated in our campus Only freshers and fairwell party is done in our college A lot of books are available in the library The classrooms are well furnished Sports are only played in the time of sports meet Only volleyball ground is there in the campus No clubs are there in the college
Admission
I came form maths background and i also applied for b.tech in hpu shimla and nit Hamirpur but i thought that this course will help me in my life also so i joined this course The admission process is very simple for our college...go to the site (himtu)..there you can apply for the exam..then councilling will be there for the admission of the students
Faculty
The exams are not very tough...the faculty to students ratio is comparatively higher...there are only 7 teachers for approximately 280 students... approximately 10-12 students fail in every end semester examination
Night Life
A gym is there but it is not opened for the students No cafeteria is there in the college Library is opened for a certain time period due to the lack of librarian No library incharge is there No hostels are present Locality is also not safe here
