run by central government so the fees structure is very affordable
good patient load so students can learn a lot
good cultural programs and functions related to the courses offered

Dislikes

Bad location as water logging problem is there
hostel situation is average could have been better
renovation works and expansion of college area should be done

curriculum is based on the AIOTA and its one of the 21 colleges recognized by WFOT in India one need not to worry about structure of the program or the curriculum its good enough to earn you knowledge and skills

Internships Opportunities

Bachelor in Occupational Therapy is growing and yeah its growing a lot specially after pre covid and after surgery complications earn skills learn em and apply irl you are good to go in future scope will increase a lot so is the salary

Fees and Financial Aid

at admission one has to pay 61,000 [10000 +51000] from next year its 51000 per year i dont know much about scolarships or other fess structure as such one may check the college's website for further information

Campus Life

we have fresher program like every colleges and fest called as kinesis each year mianly held in the month of jan or feb depending upon the organizing batch most of the books in library are of foreign authors and are too expensive to buy from retail store or maybe not even available overcall campus life is quite boring tbh

Admission

I choose this college because i was interested about bachelor in occupational therapy in general i applied for neet but the scam in 2024 didnt let me get any college but i am lucky enough to get NILD through their CET eam

Faculty

Faculty is good renowned therapists and doctors teach here so in terms of education theres no issue in it exams are conducted annuanly by WBUHS and yeah it is not that easy one need to have clear concepts to score good marks in finals

Night Life

the college is located in bonhoogly Baranagar tho the place is quite boring compared to other parts of kolkata but its manageable its about the individual how well they acclimitate in the area itself

Dislikes

College timings, hostel warden behaviour,class monitor, agressive class teacher, some management members , hostel food, hostel water , hostel small room , hostel shareble room , some buildings are very poor

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students become eligible for campus placements.appolo clinic visited also here and helping for getting internship.Name of the Companies visited lenskart. highest and average package as per company is 800000/year. Percentage of students getting placements are 80%. Masters or MBA, I will purchase.

Likes

Infrastructure are very well decorated. The environment is very good for reading and learning.
Faculties are very well educated and behaviour is extremely good.Very helpful
There are too many instruments than other universities

Dislikes

There are a proper dress code we have to maintain every day
Canteen is good but service isn't too good
Class time is so long ..as we have to do class from 10 to 5:20 non stop

Placement Experience:

*Placement is much better than other colleges *Student become eligible from 3rd yr means 6th semester. Lenskart, Himalaya,GKB opticals,zeisis offer job and also *many hospitals like Sanhya Netralya, disha eye hospital and many more. *Student above 75% is must got placement *I am planning to go abroad fro doctor of optometry

Campus Atmosphere is very beautiful . All types of shops are available in the campus
The faculties are too good. They are too helpful and supporting.
The senior junior bond is very beautiful.and there are no ragging system.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love this medical field and laboratory work so I choose. The faculty are too good and helpful . They always help us for study. They all are p.hd or doctor who teach us. The exam is too easy . Physics, chemistry biology, english and logical reasoning are the syllabus.
