Course Curriculum Overview

4

The way they prepare the question is the main reason for me to choose this college. They really provide not only bookish knowledge but also how to deal with the real world. The examination that they conduct are very reasonable because they give us the amount of time that a normal students need to be prepared for an examination. So I think it's quite reasonable and nice.

Internships Opportunities

4

In the first 4 sem we don't get opportunities for the internship but in the 5th sem and 6th sem we get the opportunity for the internship and jobs. We even have couriers consulting facilities where we can go from the first sem onwards they guide us in pursuing our goals.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, I joined st.Anthony's college in July 2024 and the admission process was very simple there was no need of Cuet. For the first semester I had to pay 19850. There is no monthly fee. For the hostel i paid 18000 for admission and as well as installment. For the hostel we have to pay 2200 mess fee monthly and now in the second semester its a bit less from the first semester, now for the college I had to pay 16850 and for the hostel it's 15000 for the installment. As for the mess fee it's the same. In the even number of semester we have to pay a bit less than we pay for the odd number semester. In fact all the facilities in my college is good and very reasonable. The hostel food is also very nice we get non-veg every day except on the Saturdays.

Campus Life

4

We have many clubs in our college like it's up to your interest what you want to choose. We have ncc, dance and culture club etc etc. In the beginning of our college we have many programs like fresher and meet up after that we even have many books in our library. There are more then 5000 books and you can borrow it for 1 week with the help of our college I'd and you can even access to some online link and read all the book that you want for free.

Hostel Facilities

4

If you're a first year student then you will have to stay in a room with 2 Roomate and if you have reached to 2nd year or 3rd year you can stay in double room. The room provided by the hostel are quite spacious and nice. We have our own bed, cupboard for clothes and table for study. We even have access to free wife a library in the hostel itself which is very convenient for everyone staying in the hostel. For the food we get food twice morning and at night. We have to pack for the day. In the morning we get fried rice, normal rice, dal, and curry according to the day. And at night we get non veg every day except in Saturdays. We have many pg's and rented house if you want to stay outside. Just opposite to the college we have a hostel call Lydia hall it's more like a pg.

Admission

I originally wanted to go to Delhi university I even got the seat but because of the delay of the Cuet result I had to keep my option open. I applied to maybe 4 college one is from my local place, the other one is b.booruah,st Anthony's and DU. But since my Cuet results were delayed I ended up in stb.Anthonys I got accepted in the other two college which I applied for but since st.Anthony's was my second option I came here. In st. Anthony's due to some network issue my acceptance mail was stuck so I had to come here in the college and talked with the principal after finally talking with the principal I received my email and my admission was done. But if my Cuet result came out a bit earlier I would've gone in DU i guess but never mind I like here too.

Faculty

Our teaching staff are really nice and they really try their best to solve students problem. From our dept. I like ou HOD he is really nice a funny too. I like one of our tecaher too his name is ricaldy he is really sweet and nice. In our college only one exam is conducted that is the end semester examination and before that we have practical exam for our internal marks.

Night Life

4

We have two canteens. In one of the canteens we can buy all the stationary things that are essential and in that very canteen we get all the junk foods like chips, ice cream, coffee, and etc etc. Another is the one where we get cooked food like roti rice and momo, noodles etc etc. we have two hostel one for girl and one for boys but it's really difficult to get a seat if you are an catholic then you have more chances to get a seat. The name of the hostels are mama Margret hall for girls and Stephan hall for boys it's not so far from the college campus. It's really nice to stay in the hostel since I'm staying in the hostel and have the experience. According to the dept the college trip are decided if you hod and the CR or the DR are okay with the decision then the trips are taken. Recently our dept went to Manali.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i've always had a passion for literature and it's musings so i guess english has always been close to home and my intellect. The curriculum makes me well known to the real world. There aren't any necessary improvements as per my perspective. The level of difficulty is moderate except it prepares every student to get out of one's comfort zone

I would rate an 8 because curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for the grade and a timeline to follow so the syllabus will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information

The college needs to work out a bit and have an accommodation for outstation students. That way, more students will be interested to study in the college. They should try their best to have it in the college.

Students take admission so as to get good placements. However, this college doesn't really have that option and so it needs to improve in that aspect as it'll ultimately give name to the college and also its alumnis.
