anatomy teacher is best in this college
5 cadaver for 1batch = 200student and 200 student is divided by 5 group
physiology lab is full of equipment and teachers is also nice

Dislikes

distance of college and mess for mess is apox 800meter from hostel

mbbs course is very tough and specially 1st year is and 2nd year is less stressful than 1st year and in 3rd year only 2subject and in final year to much subject like optha obs and gyn,ent, ortho ect over all mbbs is very tough

Internships Opportunities

the hospital is full of patient so intership duty is hard there is no placement in this college the salary of intern student is 14500 but in this year it reached to under 20 thousand so over all internship is not good in this college

the year wise fee is only for the management quota students at the time of admission 45lac approx fee must be taken by college and after that 9 lac semester for the state quota students 2460000 one time at the time of students complete tution fee taken by college and hostel fee is decided by room minimum 160000

Campus Life

my batch is 2023 batch and my imidiate senior is very bad they have zero maner so the 1st day of college experience is very bad after the comming of new principal all thing runs properly and now feel good

Hostel Facilities

hostel facility is so much costly according to the price but over all cleaning and safety is nice laundary man came once in 2week or 3week and water feel with own filter iiss paresent on 1st and 7th floor

i choose this college because of his infrastructure and his rank this college is 2nd best private college in West Bengal i take admission by wbuhs counselling and i got 586 in neet ug exam so i got this college on 1st round i belongs to westbengal so i use benifits of state quota

Faculty

the anatomy department faculty is very nice and theory and practical both is very nice thought by anatomy teacher and dissection class is also by experience and expert teachers physiology professor is alsi nice

Night Life

the night life of this college is not so good the mess start at 8pm and end 10:30pm and after the dinner the 1st year students last entry time is 9pm and 2nd year students has some labality of time over all not night life

Burdwan Medical College inside life and details

Likes

Faculties are well trained and knowledgious
Boys girls ratio is 2:1. This college gives highest safety to girls
The campus offers number of games like badminton court, table tennis court and a large ground for cricket

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not very much good.
Other games like basketball court is brooen
The library is not having ac which creates a problem in summer

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exam is very difficult. Literally you can't copy a single answer and can't carry cheat in examination but this is applicable only for final examination. Well, you can cheat in semester examination . Improvement in teaching method - mic of the lecture theatre not work properly and too much echo

Plenty of patient variety for better clinical exposure

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

Likes

Hostel rooms, shared along with roommates and memories made.
Cancer hospital building up for more patients.
Good patient outflow of our hospital, and has a little bakery for people who get hungry.

Dislikes

Mess food needs improvement, decent not very good
Construction never stops on campus, too dusty
Location, it is in between a jungle further away from durgapur

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is a hectic course and not for the weak hearted. It takes discipline and dedication which our college has taight us by taking several exams and practice sessions. There is no thing as studied everything or studied nothing here.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

Placement Experience:

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

Why to choose AIIMS Kalyani over other Medical colleges

Likes

The infrastructure and the the quality of life in AIIMS is great and you would love to live there
The place has hoghest and most qualified clinicians which motivate you to become one of them
The academics and the faculties are superb

Dislikes

The campus has yet to develop cocurricular infrastructure fully
There is a bit of understaffness in the college
The campus is away from city and needs a bit of development outside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

Top-notch hostel facility, better than most other colleges.
The most beautiful campus of all other medical colleges in India

The location is a bit on outskirt from city
The IPD is still not 100% functional after 5 years

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum spreads over 4.5 years + 1 year of compulsory internship. It includes a total of 19 subjects, these subjects prepare you well for handling patients in real life. AIIMS being an Institute of National Importance, has curated the curriculum very well with lots of focus on practical clinical knowledge. 4.5 years is divided into total 9 semesters and 4 Professional exams. In each exam you have to score more than 50% in each subject to pass. The course academics is very rigid and thorough, so you have to study hard really to come out as a skilled doctor.

Seniors are like your own brothers and sisters,they have always got your back.
Classrooms,Library,Practical Laboratories.

Dislikes

Some teachers and seniors are not helpful,but their number is very very few.
Exams are always their,academic pressure is very much in MBBS
The local people are not very friendly at times

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very prestigious course,which provides you with a degree and license to practise anywhere in the county as a physician,and also opportunities to presure higher post graduate degrees. Faculty student ratio is variable from dept. to dept. ranging from 1:12 to 1:20 Faculties are highly qualified,most of them having MBBS,MD/MS/DNB(in one or multiple subjects)and even PhD. Teaching method is very good,student friendly,AC lecture theatre,Projectors,individual dept. and laboratories,library,examination hall everything is there. Moreover most of the teachers are approachable and available for the students,they are very helpful. Mostly offline classes are conducted. There are 3 semesters and one final university exam in a year,total four exams,almost one in two to three months. Qualifying marks is 50% in both theory and practical,and is a little difficult to pass to be honest,one has to study regularly to pass the exams.

Remarks:

The most important positive remark is its location. It is just a 3 hours drive from Kolkata and 4 hours drive from Cuttuck and Kharagpur being one of the India's largest railway station located just 10 Kms distance connection is all together very good be it by road or by train. And the city is very safe and clean.
